Hotels Near Azumasugi Park in Nagoya

Location was between 2 stations, quite a walk if you carry large luggage. Price was very affordable and hotel is new, rooms are small but can’t complain with the attractive prices. It’s located at the edge of a entertainment area so if you venture down the streets at night might not be suitable for families.

We traveled to Nagoya Sakae for five days, staying at Travelodge as a family of three—me, my wife, and our toddler. We stayed on their Superior Queen Room, which is amply spaced for a Japanese hotel. Even with its small footprint, it was surprising that it has its own fridge, movable table for eating or work, and an ensuite toilet and bath. I also love that it has a window overlooking Mirai Tower. It has a gym, laundromat, and a co-working space that's also used in the morning for buffet breakfast (optional). I love that all guests are given access to free soda and juice dispenser. Location is also very good, about five-minute by foot to Nagoya Tower, and surrounded all around by convenience stores, restaurants, and bars—really vibrant during the weekends. And if you're into walking, most of Nagoya's tourist spots is walkable from the hotel, including Nagoya Castle and the Science Museum.

The hotel room is clean and the location is meant to be convenient; it is just a few mins walk from the subway exit However, it was very unfortunate that the exit was closed on the next day after we arrived due to the Golden week holiday, and the distance to the hotel became very far. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. But considering paying almost US$130 a night for a self service hotel , it is pricey. You need to get amenities ie paper cup, hot water, robes,....from the lobby and there wasn't any safe deposit box Nor phone in the room. The attitude of the staff is average.

The building is undeniably old, but the rooms and unit baths were clean and comfortable. Not only the amenities in the room, but also the shampoo bar, floss, cotton swab, emulsion lotion and so on at the front desk. I think women will be happy with welcome coffee. We stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier from May 17th to May 20th, 2024, in a moderate double room, and had a wonderful experience. Location and Accessibility: Perfectly located in central Nagoya, the hotel offers easy access to attractions and public transport. Room: The moderate double room was stylish, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. However the aircon in the room was not cold, the hotel had to provide us a portable fan and we have to open the window slightly to let the cool air in. I would have rated the facilities to be 5 stars if the aircon is cool enough. Service and Facilities: The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel amenities, including Wi-Fi were excellent. We didn't try the public bath though, it was very crowded. Overall Impression: Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier provided a fantastic stay with its great service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

First, we were greeted by the front desk and they gave welcome drinks. The room is small but very clean and everything we need is already provided. You can get toiletries in their desk. It is located near Nagoya station. When we opted our room not to be cleaned, they provided with eye mask which is very thoughtful, apart from being sustainable. Overall a pleasant stay here.

Good location only 3-5 minute walk from jr station, opposite of Big camera There are several restaurants around. The room is very small for 2 people. You cannot walk pass each other. But it’s clean and near the train station.
