I always stay at Richmond when i travel in Japan. I am happy with the location , very convenient to everything. My room was specious and clean.When i need more coffee bag , i git it deliver to my room very quickly. It is really value for money staying at Richmond Hotel.

The hotel is very close to the JR station. We first went to the comprehensive sightseeing information center at the station to buy a one-day tram pass, which allows unlimited tram rides for one day. Then exit the station from the direction of the comprehensive tourist information center, walk through AMU PLAZA, and cross the overpass to the hotel. Under the overpass is the tram stop and the road (part of it is currently under construction). There is an elevator going up and down the overpass, and you get to the hotel entrance right after you get off the elevator, which is very convenient. You can only check in at 3pm. We stored our luggage at the hotel and went out to play. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is good.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Nagasaki and we decided to stay at Nagasaki Marriott as hotel was newly opened 3 months ago. The hotel located at a good location, next to bus terminal, train station and easy access to tram so we can just go around the city for sightseeing and cultural experience, but the best part was that hotel is next to a shopping mall where you can find many good restaurants and shops including famous local Nagasaki Castela. Our experience staying at Nagasaki Marriott was beyond our expectations. We were so impressed with how well hotel staff were trained at all areas since hotel just opened not long time ago. We really felt like we stepped into Japanese hospitality for both services and mindset of staff who always pay attention to guests from the entrance of the hotel at ground floor before going up to the lobby check-in with warm welcome and big smiles. Each area we experienced was a wonderful one, breakfast area was well set with variety of foods from local products. We very much appreciated staff working hard in kitchen and also M Lounge was our favorite place to relax and enjoy some dinner served and conversations with the staff. We fell into love with this hotel, not only because the modern designed room but also offered the solutions on how guest could enjoy the room during their stay. But most importantly our experience with staff made our stay such a wonderful and special one. Special thanks to: Mr. Yoshimitsu, Executive Assistant Manager, Mr. Antonio, Guest Experience Manager who made sure guests are well taken care. And thank you for training your staff well. The hotel is quite far from Nagasaki Station, so you need to take the tram and get off at Kankodori Station. The hotel is right at the tram intersection. There are KFC, McDonald's, etc. nearby, and it is also very close to SHKP Chinatown. It is really convenient for people who like to go shopping. The hotel room is quite big. I like the bathroom in the hotel. It is similar to the bathroom arrangement in Japanese homes where the toilet and bathroom are separated. The shower water is very strong and the shower is very comfortable. I will choose this hotel again in the future, as long as I can overcome the squeeze on the tram with my luggage! 😀

It was an incredible inn that I was staying with a budget control. The customer service was always polite and smiling and gave me some fine care. The room was fashionable and clean, and there was no dirt that was concerned. Smart singles are wider than considering the number of tatami mats because there is no bathtub, and I didn't feel particularly narrow for the amount of luggage arrangement, notes, smartphone use, sleep, etc. The shower room was also thankful that the gap was blocked so that the water did not go to the toilet side. Unlike the minimal, it is a full western style floor. Although the space for the washbasin is not large, there is another place in the washbasin, so it is recommended to divide the washbasin into two or more large porch. The bath in the bath also extended and soaked, and the fatigue of the sightseeing in Nagasaki City, which tended to be beautiful and easy to walk, healed more than I imagined. The bath and the room were secure, and even the woman was safe. In addition, it was a nice trip, and it was full of a little goodness that raised the travel mood, such as coffee and tea freely in front of the front desk. The breakfast at the beginning of April was a sandwich buffet with a tasteful bread and pancake, and selection of ingredients from cream, *, sausage, sliced onions, saba, etc. There are several kinds of soup, coffee, tea and juice, but there is no miso soup and white rice, so I think it's a preference there. I was delicious. Even if you don't set breakfast by reservation, it was difficult to buy a ticket at the front desk if you were tired or trying to go to breakfast when the store was a holiday. By the way, the entrance and the price are different, but there is a popular cooking on the second floor, and if you are careful about the business hours and the restriction of the entrance of the large bath, you can drink the sour in 0 minutes on foot. If you care about time, you can also look around the nearby store street. Chinatown and Dejima were able to walk in the typical cultural system, and the city tram station was also nearby and it was a good location.

I was able to spend a relaxing time in the renewed room. When I asked at the front desk about the place I wanted to visit, I carefully examined and received the materials. Thank you very much. There were many types of breakfast and I enjoyed it. It was a late time, but the fewer side dishes were properly replenished. One unfortunate thing. When you try to sleep, next door? The sound of drainage in the room echoed in the room for a few minutes. The drainage sound of the washbasin in the room I stayed in was also loud, so I thought it was a problem of drainage connection construction.

We stayed for 3 nights at this new and beautiful hotel. While it was a bit DIY-ish to take whatever the amenities you wanted at the reception area, I found this practical. When we wanted more towels, a receptionist was happy to hand us one as well. I enjoyed the top floor outdoor bath as well as breakfast daily. From TA review, I learnt that the bath could be quite busy. Maybe because we stayed at this Candeo Hotel on weekdays, I never had to feel crumped in the locker area. Breakfast had a variety of local Japanese and western spreads, and it was delicious. The location of the hotel was superb. The major tram stop was within a few minutes on foot. We could walk to Dejima, Megane Bridge, even to the Dutch Slope. There were a plenty of restaurants nearby. The only reason that I could not give 5 stars was that the staff appeared to be distanced. I used to frequently stay in hotels around the world, and I consider receptionists to be the gatekeepers of hotels. With a bit of training, they can smile a little more and perhaps be friendlier. I stayed in 3 more hotels during my recent trip to Japan, and unfortunately, this Candeo Hotel’s receptionists spoke the poorest English, and all of the staff I encountered, including those at breakfast and other areas, looked unhappy.

This time I stayed in a room with 3 beds with 3 family members. The size of the room, the lighting (brightness) and the cleanliness were great. Especially, I am very satisfied with the size of the room (of course, it is not as large as overseas, but in Japan there are 3 beds, and I am impressed with that size). The location of the hotel was also convenient between Nagasaki Station and the center of Nagasaki. The front desk customer service was very good except for one person. I want one of them to follow other staff and do their best to provide better service in the future. The hotel is a bit old, but it was well maintained and I was able to spend a very comfortable time with my family.

The first impression is that it feels very Chinese. After all, it is right next to Chinatown. The breakfast is also very Chinese-style. There is a bathtub indoors, where you can take a shower. When you go out, you can reach Chinatown. You don’t have to worry about having nowhere to eat at night.
