We were a 70-year-old couple traveling together, and the best thing about it was the amazing night view. It was nice that we could see it equally from all the rooms. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were picked up and dropped off by a minibus from Nagasaki Station, which was convenient. The bath and breakfast were excellent. I would recommend this to my friends. The only thing that bothered me was that the refrigerator motor was a little loud. That said, I was tired from walking during the day and slept soundly.

It depends on personal preference. I like B&Bs, and I like hot springs. I like the night view of Nagasaki.

The scenery of the hotel is beyond words, it is beautiful, but transportation is indeed a problem. There are not many shuttle buses, and the evening ends early. If you have late evening activities, you will basically have to take a taxi back. But the view and service are great.

The view is great. The staff is friendly. It doesn't feel fancy, but I had a good rest. The clam rice and dinner on the second day were especially great.

It was a very nice inn. It is a little inconvenient to go out into the city because it is on the mountain, but the view from the room was good and I enjoyed the night view. The room is spacious enough for two people to stay. There are two types of baths, a slightly smaller observatory bath and a large bath of a affiliated inn connected by a passage, both of which were clean and comfortable. In the middle of the connecting passage, small information such as trivia about Nagasaki and Nagasaki dialect is posted, which is useful. Breakfast is a pure Japanese meal served at a table in the banquet hall. It was a small amount, but there were many items, and I enjoyed various tastes. Anyway, the staff's attention and attention are well received. There were many times when I was able to guess and shout out before I asked for a favor. It was a recommended ryokan for those who live in Kyushu, but I am convinced to stay.

Great café with a unique, artistic ambiance that sets it apart from the rest. The atmosphere is both comfortable and stylish, making it an inviting place to relax. The staff are welcoming and efficient, enhancing the overall experience. The coffee is consistently excellent, with a rich flavor that makes each sip enjoyable. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a place to socialize, this café is a top choice in Kyoto.

Located high on a hill east of downtown, with spectacular panoramic views of the city and harbour. Parking is available onsite and managed well. Room clean, spacious and well maintained. Room includes a tatami area fitted out in traditional style. Western and futon bed options available. The room also includes a wooden sunken-floor hot spa bath, as well as a shower area. Fridge, kettle and a wide array of in-room accessories are included. Staff professional and very helpful. Front office staff speak some English, with translation apps available when needed. Breakfast is traditional Japanese and high quality. The hotel has a traditional communal hot spring bath about 4m x 4m x 0.5m big enough to fit about 10 adults, but mostly uninhabited when I visited. Yukata and slippers are included in the room for moving to and from the bath. A larger communal bath is located in the adjacent hotel, accessed by a covered corridor. The main limitations of this hotel are the absence of a lift and the location near the top of a high hill at the end of a long narrow road. These are mitigated by only 3 floors and helpful staff keen to carry luggage etc. and an hourly curtesy bus between the hotel and the railway station downtown. I rate this hotel very highly. I haven’t enjoyed a hotel stay as much as this for quite some time.

The other annex was closed, so I couldn't use the open-air bath that I was looking forward to, but the staff were all very kind and the food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. Since it was just us and one other group staying that day, we were able to upgrade our Japanese-style room to a Japanese-style room. The night view seemed to be the selling point, and it was certainly beautiful. I'd like to stay at a nicer inn. I want to take it easy. I can recommend it to anyone.
