Great location—loved having a Lawson right downstairs!
I didn’t realize Big Echo was on the 4th floor; otherwise, I would’ve planned to go for karaoke. But I already had a movie scheduled, so there wasn’t enough time.
The view was exactly what I was hoping for. I really enjoy staying in places with windows that offer such a nice view.
The only downside was the washing machine. It was quite slow and required coins. I even had to buy drinks from the vending machine just to get enough 100-yen coins for laundry.
I guess this kind of old-style machine is still common in Japanese hotels. Unlike the newer machines in China and Thailand that only take about 30 minutes to wash and another 20–30 minutes to dry (with separate machines), this one took significantly longer.
Overall, it was a good stay. I slept really well—even overslept a bit! Probably because I had spent the whole day snowboarding and was completely exhausted.

Strategic location in the town area.
Walking distance near to Nagano Station.
Easy walk around to get food or even shopping
All the amenities placed at the lobby area, any time replenish when needed easily.
The space of the room not too big or small.... Good...

Best location, amenities and good spread of breakfast in this hotel. Not too much to worry about lugging your luggage as it is pretty convenient to cross the road or overhead bridge with escalator. Very accessible.

Sotetsu is my go to chain for a basic and fuss free hotel. The location is great, just opposite Nagano Station and there’s a Lawson just below the hotel, perfect for late night snacks shopping. Room is basic but comfortable,
