房間酒店整潔有理，性價比不錯，但酒店位置偏遠。早餐及晚餐的懷石料理非常好，有近江牛，十分享受，是個不錯的酒店選擇。

低温泉を沸かしている内湯のお湯は赤茶色で見るからに鉄分が多そうだが、実際は鉄分は含まれているがお湯自体は有馬のように鉄臭くなく入りやすい。内湯の温泉の泉質はよいが、露天はただのお湯で残念。料理は前菜の一品が足りなかったり、髪の毛が入っていたりで、最低。部屋は広いが、広すぎて使い勝手が悪い。

犬が入り口や通路に何匹も放し飼いされている。浴衣とかに犬の毛がついている口コミの通り、潔癖症や犬がだめな人は考えた方が良いかも。

お部屋が和室とベッドのある洋室とがあり、玄関も広いのでとてもゆったりしていてくつろげました。 和室にもソファがあるのはありがたかったです。私は足が悪いので。 スタッフの方の接客も丁寧でとてもゆったりと過ごせるお宿でした。 温泉も内風呂と露天風呂があってこちらも堪能できたのです。 お部屋にある半露天風呂は温泉ではなく、伊吹山の薬草の湯で細かい小さい泡が湯舟の底からでてきて、これが気持ちよかった～♪ ただ、満足できなかったのは夕食。 近江牛のすき焼きの夕食を選んだので、大変楽しみにしていたのです。 ところがでてきたお肉を見た時に「ん？」となり、食べてみて「ありゃ？」となるくらいお肉がおいしくなかったのです。 近江牛をうたうなら、プラス5000円でも8000円でもいいので、おいしいお肉をたべさせて欲しかったです。 翌日の朝食は大変おいしかったので、この夕食だけが残念でした。 今度伺う時はすき焼きではなく、普通の懐石のコースにしようと思っています。

本年９月に、長浜辺りを旅行した際に、こちらの宿に宿泊しました。 久しぶりに、温泉につかりゆっくりと過ごすことができました。こちらの温泉は、かつてお市の方が湯治したこともある名湯だとのことです。温泉は割と空いていたので、他の方を気にせずに入浴できました。 夕食は、広い座敷で部屋ごとにサーブされる形式でした。写真にあるように、豪華なメニューで、美味しく頂きました。 近くの河毛駅まで送迎バスがあります。
