We stayed here for 4 days in the country room I. You either like it (like my wife) or you don't like it (like me): the Opora style, or many authentic and recycled materials. Nice and cozy of course, but not always functional and hygienic. For example, the reused copper pipes in the bathroom have their charm, but they do not give much water, they leak and make a hell of a noise when used. Our country room was also quite small with limited space for a suitcase or clothes (why all that wood and a gigantic vase???). In the usual heat, the room even gave a claustrophobic feeling and you had the impression of a lack of oxygen. The breakfast then: all the trimmings, among others. fresh fruit from our own garden, but unfortunately it is served on the private terrace near the room, despite the immense beautiful corners everywhere on the domain. So you don't get to know anyone and you get what you get (= way too much!). Why not just have a breakfast buffet so people can choose what to start the day with? Last but not least, there was the cleaning service. In the evening we used the slightly more comfortable chairs from the breakfast table and so as not to disturb anyone we did not want to exchange them until the next day. Unfortunately, the cleaning lady / man found it necessary to come and brush away the leaves (10?) in front of the door at 7:00 am - 1 time even at 6:30 am - and to put the chairs back in place with the necessary noise . No doubt well-intentioned, but why??? We also had a private dinner here: very tasty and cozy, but just a bit too expensive (120 € pp.!!!) and despite the announcement of adapted wines for the various dishes, we only received 1 bottle of red wine. But Opora also has too many positive sides to give a bad review: the super friendly people, the delicious food that you can buy in the shop, the beautiful green decor (olive trees, fruit trees, etc.), the swimming pool, the quiet environment, the excellent location, etc. etc. So overall a positive experience with a number of not insignificant flaws. I would definitely go for a bigger room next time.
