Leto Nuevo Hotel

Nafplio|0.2km from Akronafplia
There were six of us in our group (3 bedrooms total). If you look at the hotel from the front, the lobby is over to the left and our rooms were in the addition over to the right. There were three rooms connected by a hallway and we had all three so it was kind of nice that we were the only ones in that part of the building. The rooms were fine - European so small, but modern and clean which is all I care about. The view was nice as you're up on the hill overlooking the sea, but it's probably a better view from the floor above us as we saw a lot of the tops of buildings. We had a few problems. The first morning we woke up early to get a start on the day and the water was freezing cold. I ran outside over to the looby to let the manager know, but she doesn't usually arrive until 8AM so it was just the kitchen staff getting ready for breakfast. Through Google translate I was able to explain what was happening and they called the manager who got on the phone with a plumber. Long story short, it got fixed around 9AM so we got a late start. Rick Steve's says it's not about whether or not there are issues (there always will be) but about how the staff reacts. They were pleasant. To the left of the lobby there was a hallway and at the end was an empty room that had a deluxe bathroom. I went in and turned on the water in the shower and it was hot so apparently the issue was just on our side of the building - maybe with another water heater. Then we realized that the shower doors wouldn't stay shut so the bathroom floor was covered in water - slipping hazard. We found that the trashcan next to the toilet was broken and then that the sink was draining really slowly. The staff was able to fix the shower door almost (not 100%, but close) while we were there so that was nice. Maybe if we'd been there longer it would have been okay, but our time was so precious if we don't get an early start then there are things we just don't get to do. I guess I figure when you're a hotel hot water in a shower is a basic expectation. Also, there was no ”Hey, we know you're getting a late start so breakfast is on us,” or, ”Hey, we have an empty room with a functioning shower - why don't you use that room so everybody can get clean and you can start your day.” It was more along the lines of... we have a plumber and he'll be here soon. One last thing, they did have a laundry service and they took our clothes at 10PM and we had all three bags back (dry and folded) the next morning around 8AM for 30 euros so I give them credit for that. Would I stay there again? I really don't know. There seemed to be a lot of hotels around and we were there in the off-season so there seemed to be plenty of vacancies. If I'm realistic I think I'd actually hunt around online a bit to see if we could get into a better hotel for what might be the same price.

Epoch House & The Orange Shop - Adults Only
4.7/517 Reviews
Highly recommended! The location is very good, just on the edge of the Constitution Square, downstairs is the orange shop, the second floor and the third floor are rooms, the house is an old house, but the decoration is very new and modern, and the quality taste is online, the minibar is good, the linen is very comfortable, I looked at the full set of Greek local big brand COCO- MAT. Breakfast is a menu of choice, the number is not bad, Nafplio is rich in oranges, orange juice is delicious. We stayed at the B&B for the first time. This B&B subverted our impression of the B&B. Especially the linen can be said to be amazing. Generally speaking, if there is no high demand for breakfast, the standard of this B&B exceeds that of many international brand chain business hotels. Basically, it can reach the four-star level. In addition, because it is in the center of the old city, the small street next to the apartment cannot be parked. The car needs to be parked in the port parking lot or a slightly larger roadside parking space nearby (no charge for parking in the old city), but it is not too far to take the box, which is more convenient than most B&Bs on the hillside. (Ps: Apartment has elevator) In addition, if the budget is sufficient, Nafplio has a very good hotel Nafplio Palace Hotel, when we booked, we saw an evaluation that it was not convenient to eat far from the old city. We had to walk a short distance back to the hotel at night, so we didn't dare to book. When I arrived, I found that the hotel view was very good and there was a dedicated parking garage, and I could actually drive back and forth (the style and price of this Nafplio Palace can be analogous to Banyan Tree)
Impero Nafplio Hotel & Suites

We’ve rented accommodation all over Europe and Australia. This is a good one. The staff really care and whether it’s where to eat or can I borrow a drying rack for the washing, it’s not a problem. Swimming in the sea about 200mtrs one way, the main square about 200mtrs the other way. Plenty of adequate restaurants within easy distance but don’t expect Michelin. All in all, good value for the money. If we’re in Nafplio again, we’ll definitely stay here.
Xenon Inn

The Xenon hotel is fabulous. We got a corner balcony. Very top notch and romantic. Nafplio is a beautiful town and the hotel overlooks Syntagma (constitution) Square in the best part of town. Book this hotel. Breakfast is superb and the restaurant serves great food.

Pension Eleni
4.3/527 Reviews
My husband and I travelled for two weeks in Greece in May of 2016. I can honestly say this was the most memorable place we stayed. I say this because of Eleni herself. She greeted us so warmly and gave us a tour of our room. We had a great and cute interaction with her. When we left she ran after us to make sure we had a good stay. She gave us each a warm hug. I felt as if she were the most beautiful and wonderful grandma that I could ever have. I will always remember her. On a side note the room was wonderful - very clean with a nice view. Also, there was a small continental breakfast provided in the room we stayed at.
Andromeda Suites
4.6/522 Reviews
I especially enjoyed my stay at the Andromeda Hotel in Nafplio! The hotel is in what is called the “old” part of this beautiful Greek, sea-side town. It has charm as well as all of the modern conveniences. It is clean, spacious, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is modern, and the shower is a high-tech marvel! Also, the breakfast was a delight: eggs, meats, freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, coffee... Lastly, the owners and staff could not have been more pleasant and friendly.
