Evolve Back Kabini

This was one of the finest experiences ever. The stay and food was top notch and their hospitality sets them apart from all their competitors. The safaris with their highly professional naturalists made our experience unforgettable and memorable. The drive (quite literally ;D) of these naturalists to ensure we have sight the predators and rare fauna was truly commendable. Spl mention: Naturalists Vishnu, Sharath and Shanmugam and Chef Patra. Thank you Team Evolve Back, Kabini. We are definitely coming back here.

Evolve back is a very special experience, with beautifully appointed cottages and facilities, a wonderful location, and a highly trained team. Tapan, the head chef deserves a special mention for going out of his way to cook items off the menu. We were touched by his hospitality and obvious dedication to his work, being present and checking with guests at literally every meal. Quality and variety of food at the buffet and grill restaurant was outstanding. The naturalists Aneesh, Shanmuga and vishal were fun and informative. We managed to see a tiger, otters, crocodiles, mongoose, gaur and a variety of birds and animals. Rupa, our guest relations contact was very responsive and greatly helped smoothen logistics - very helpful given we were traveling as a group. If I could, I would deduct half a star for the bar, which is cosy but does not live up to the resort standard - no vermouth, several menu items out of stock, the limited champagne available not pre-chilled, all of 2 selections for rum etc. the staff did their best to compensate but this area needs immediate attention. The second was the 45 min long check out process due to confusion around the safari bills owing to an extra person joining one safari and cancelling on another one. But given this must happen fairly often, surely there needs to be a better system. Lastly, I would suggest keeping some children’s bicycles so they can enjoy exploring the surrounds also. And the kids club can be better organised with activities for the kids, which will help parents who otherwise need to play with and mind the kids at the club. Simple things like helping create pressed leaves and flower activities, kite flying etc can be done. Kids clubs abroad are excellent and there are a lot of good ideas that evolve back can borrow Other than that, our stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend evolve back Kabini

The hospitality was exceptional - every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Special thanks to Roopa and Sudesh for their warmth and attentiveness. The accomodation were breathtaking, our pool hut was beautifully designed, waking up to the sounds of nature and sipping coffee while overlooking the river was an unforgettable experience. The food was another highlight- each meal was a delightful culinary journey, featuring fresh, locally inspired dishes, thanks to anto and team at the restaurants.

One of the best experiences of resort that I have ever had. Rooms were spacious, with attached pool for the kids to enjoy (so much they never wanted to come out). Courteous staff, great food. Package included breakfast and dinner and the spread was awesome from local cuisine to continental. Always the staff would greet you with namaskara with a smile and this leaves a smile on your face and namaskara back on your lips. The naturalist's were knowledgeable and helped a lot starting from knowledge sharing before safari's and good at spotting and helping us spot. Their wildlife species knowledge was also commendable. We did 3 safaris, one boat safari and 2 road safari. We were very very lucky enough to see tigers on two of those safaris. The experience of seeing the big jungle cat in their natural habitat is something else, but the anticipation even before you see it is much more thrilling. All in all a great holiday' enjoyed thoroughly.

Wonderful accommodation with a very large room, brilliant bathroom and seating areas.The private pool was a luxury with the jacuzzi. We went on the boat safari and jeep safari and we’re lucky that we saw tigers! Well worth going on and the guide Vishal was exceptional. We ate in the grill once and otherwise in the main restaurant. The grill was a very nice experience but the service was very slow, and the wine selection poor. It turns out that they had what we wanted next door in the restaurant but was not available here? The main restaurant food is good but you can be pressured to use the evening buffet instead of the a la carte menu. The buffet is great if you want every type of curry under the sun but a break from all that spice was good. Don’t get me wrong - we were in India and expect Indian food but for a high quality ‘international ‘ hotel there should be more International dishes on offer. Breakfasts were good though and if you didn’t see what you wanted you only had to ask. Staff were very wiling to help but maybe a bit dithery - too many Indians and not enough chiefs. (Pun not intended) Very relaxing resort and exceptionally maintained. Spa was amazing- experience some of their treatments. All in all a good stay.

The reception committee was excellent, the room first class and the choice of food amazing. All the staff were most attentive and polite and respectful The activities were well organised and game drives excellent The swimming pool was a delight
