The real paradise on earth. The accomodation and the environment, the sea and the kindness of the people are all indescribable. We spent two weeks in this magical place and made lifelong memories. Thank you for everything "Bibi" & Gábor. Hakuna Matata! :)

This hotel is brilliant. The location just through a village and short walk to an unbelievable beach is quite something in its own right. Then the rooms, swimming pool, restaurant and excursions (blue safari is highly recommended to see the amazing fish and coral) give you everything that you could want. What makes this place really special though are the staff - getting to know you, making you feel at home and literally nothing is too much to ask. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to others.

This is absolute hidden gem. Hotel stuff is very good, very friendly and supportive. Food amazing-the best what we try in Zanzibar. Local tours available-strongly recommend. You will be able to see and feel local life. Place around is very safe.

Un bon accueil, un bel endroit idéal pour une ou deux nuits car il est bien isolé. Pas de village à côté, seule une plage à voir à 5 minutes à pied. La chambre est agréable. Nous avons surtout été déçus par la restauration ( petit déjeuner et dîner très médiocres!) Les propriétaires n’étaient pas là… Nous avons apprécié la soirée massai organisée à 35 dollars.

Très déçu de notre séjour au baobab africa lodge. Les propriétaires sont absents. L'hôtel est sympa et beau mais si vous n'avez pas de voiture vous tournez vite en rond et les taxis sont très cher si vous passez par l'hôtel. Si vous êtes avec des enfants dans la chambre à l'étage il y fait très chaud, il faut mettre la clim très basse pour ressentir le frais en haut mais du coup vous êtes frigorifié en bas. Le restaurant vous payez cher et c'est moyen. Les boissons sont très cher si vous désirez un cocktail au bord de la piscine et vous payez également l'eau. La plage secrète ne l'est plus, énormément de touristes viennent la journée en excursion. En marré basse vous ne pouvez pas vous baigner et haute c'est compliqué car c'est très dangereux. Les 2 singes sont enfermés en cage dans une pièce, on ne les a pas vu de notre séjour. Nous avons fait d'autres hôtels dans le sud de Zanzibar, beaucoup moins cher et plus sympa tout en étant loin de la foule touristique. En gros pour le prix de la chambre on s'attendait à de meilleurs prestations.

Très bel endroit, très bon accueil. Tarif des chambres élevé pour les prestations proposées: clim en panne, pour le jacuzzi c’est soit les bulles soit la lumière. Pour 160€ la nuit, on s’entendait à mieux au niveau des prestations. On a fait d’autres hôtels à zanzibar moins cher avec de meilleures prestations. Le petit singe n’était pas présent ( grande déception de notre fille) Personnel d’accueil très à l’écoute, bon restaurant. Hôtel recommandé pour du repos si on veut être isolé.

Le Baobab Africa Lodge est un lieu paradisiaque. Hôtel typique de Zanzibar, l’endroit permet une déconnexion totale. Le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse et toujours souriant. Sophie et Éric les propriétaires du lieu sont toujours à votre écoute et bienveillants. Sans oublier Bob la mascotte du lieu.
