Modern hotel but blending in with the dramatic landscape on a ridge overlooking Lake Mývatn. Gorgeous views from the dining room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with beautiful views on the lake side. Staff were friendly and helpful and dinner was top quality in the restaurant. My only quibble was the breakfast - coffee was lukewarm at best, bread choice was limited, same o same o sliced cheese and meats. Hot food choices were basic at best - messy and tasteless scrambled eggs.

We spent three incredible days in the hotel and everything we found there was created to make our trip as incredible, surprising and as pleasant as possible! The hotel is located in a perfect location and the entire structure is designed for the comfort and pleasure of its guests. The suites are wonderful and perfect for enjoying this winter paradise. Our room was luxurious, super spacious and comfortable. Super well planned for the best comfort. The staff were fantastic. At all times they were super friendly, discreet, but managed to anticipate our needs. We spent our days relaxing by the hot tub and enjoying the wonderful sunsets from our window. A beautiful and comfortable place with a fantastic staff. We can't wait to go back!

It was very late when I arrived. The view of the hotel was very good. I was lucky to get a room with two windows. One of the windows can be turned to 90 degrees. People can go out, but I didn't see the aurora that night. Friends also stayed at this hotel. Their bathroom was very big. Our washroom was small and small

Very very good, really happy! My husband has always praised me that this hotel is well booked. It is recommended to consider this hotel after the tour from Lake Myvatn. There is a natural hot spring. It is a hot spring pool covered by the natural hot spring that the owner flows down from the mountain. We didn't take a dip in the Blue Lake and Lake Myvatn this time because the schedule was too tight, but because this hotel comes with it, we took two dips in the evening and in the morning. After the dip, our hands and feet were warm. Advantages: The room is large and has a small balcony. A small table and two chairs are placed for guests to relax and drink tea. The room is clean and hygienic, and the bathroom decoration is also very comfortable. There are natural hot springs outside. The breakfast was pretty good. The price is also very nice. On the south shore of the Myvatn Lake with a view across the road of the pseudo craters. Standard, but spacious room. Good breakfast. The shop nearby sells head nests, which you need in the fly season. The flies are innocuous, don't sting and if they enter through an open window will try to find a way back out.
