Bluegreen Vacations Seaglass Tower

Stayed here many times and as a couple the 1 bedroom /1 bathroom units are very nice. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils for those that cook some or all of the meals in the unit. Only a double bed which works for us, but larger adults may find it cramped and inadequate. The staff that we came into contact with were very friendly. The reason for the average rating when in the past we gave higher rate stems from disabled/handicapped parking I just recently became disabled. I cannot use stairs at this time and have just recently learned to walk again. Since you must park across the street from the condo, and because there are limited HC parking spots at the resort you must be prepared for certain challenges. For example, the HC spots at the parking lots located on either of the resort are very limited and it seems that once some people park there they don't move their vehicle for several days. Problem, we encountered no parking available at the resort, so we headed for the resorts parking garage across the street. There are two levels to the garage. You have the bottom level which offered no open parking space so we were forced to park on the second level or on top of the garage. The only way to get down from the top level is to use the steep set of steps or walk down the vehicle ramp to get to the lower level. Keep in mind if you use the ramp you risk coming into contact with a vehicle. And the ramp is somewhat steep as well. Depending upon your level of disability this could be a major problem. So this review has focused on this issue and rating based on this concern. Otherwise it's still one of our favorite resorts for a couples getaway. The Resort is located on the beach and the boardwalk that takes you down to all the shops and restaurants. Again if disabled or handicapped keep in mind parking may be a legitimate challenge. Otherwise, enjoy a nice resort.

We stay here at least once a year. Love the location right on the boardwalk and beach. The staff are nice and helpful. Rooms small, but clean and remodeled. Three biggest concerns, night time the area is not as safe as 10 years ago. Elevator use is rough during busy times and the toilet is jammed up against the bathroom wall in our unit. I wish they had big tubs rather than the shower only. Parking at check-in ******. However, parking across the street is adequate. Unit noise is the best, never hear anyone walking above us or in the next unit as in other BG resorts. Unfortunately if they have outside lighting they close the indoor pool and hot tub. I know safety. Safety has improved you need to be buzzed in or have a room key card, smart room. I have one horror story from when anyone could just walk in. This is probably our 10th or more, but we enjoy the couples atmosphere and nice views.

Very clean and nice unit. The staff was incredible. The location was really wonderful. Right in the heart of the strand. The beach is right outside the door and it is filled with shells and shark teeth! Lots to do there, lots of great restaurants.

Really great place. Would come back again. Night view was awesome and was able to walk the board walk each morning. Restaurants were great everywhere. Really like Red Tomato. Was our 3 time to Mrytle and would return

Great location right on the beach. Everything was in walking distance. Love seeing the big wheel lights at night. Plenty of places to go for souvenirs. Over all stay was good. Will go back again. 👍🏾👍🏾

nicely renovated older timeshare resort. Nicely furnished kitchen. Parking is across the street and was always able to find a spot. Right on the beach boardwalk. Nearby grocery stores available. RIght near everything. Not much onsite. Indoor pool and hot tub. A car is needed to explore around Myrtle beach - plantation, etc.

As you proceed to the tower, come straight down on the 14th Avenue off North Kings Avenue all the way to where it dead ends at North Ocean Blvd. Look directly across the street at multiple 15-minute parking spots located in front of the Yachtsman Club, (9 Floors) and the Bluegreen Seaglass Tower, (19 floors). You can remain in these parking spots while your checking in. Most all other parking spots have parking meters. Once you check-in you will be given a wrist band indicating position status, 2 room key cards, and one parking marker. Once you place luggage in your room, return to your vehicle, and drive one block west on 14th Avenue. Look at 11 o’clock position and you will see a parking garage. On your parking marker, a 4-digit code will be used to enter garage. After you enter the code number, type a #. This code will also be used for locks thru out the hotel that have a punch pin system, so either memorize it or take a picture for later use. We stayed in an ocean front 1-bedroom model w/ balcony. At the kitchen/living area, and separate in your bedroom there are floor to ceiling glass windows. This particular setup is very well stocked with dishes, appliances, silverware, cooking utensils, stove, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and full refrigerator/freezer. After coming to Myrtle Beach for over 40 years, I must say, “this was the best, most memorable, seriously greatest designed, and enjoyable place we have stayed in all these years”.

Units are on the smaller side - good enough for 2 people. Right on the beach so if that's what you're looking for Seaglass is in a great spot. Lots of rides around for adults (if you're brave enough) and kids. Lots of souvenir stores and places to eat within walking distance. Right on the Boardwalk!

The room was good for two people, but would have been crowded if you had four. There's not a lot of closet space and no drawer space, just a few cubbies to put your clothes in. Not sure they got their money's worth on the multi million dollar redesign. Because of previous road noise complaints, we requested a higher floor, but even the sixteenth floor was too noisy to sleep. When the bar across the street let out, you knew it. The indoor pool was too filthy to swim in and the laundry could have used a good cleaning. The entrance elevators and lobby got progressively dirtier as the week went on. The view was nice, but the road noise and the noise from the floor above didn't make it a pleasant stay. We won't be back.
