Apart from the dodgy accommodation Mikonos is overpriced, crowded and not worth visiting unless it's on your bucket list, then I would move it down in your order of priority, there are much nicer quieter islands. Poros is 1 I rate v highly. Spetses, Hydra Crete all better value

Stayed here for a couple of nights with four people and was quite disappointed. Four people cramped into the one room whereby one of the beds I wouldn’t even count as a bed. Felt unclean in the room - odd stains around the place. It’s very very basic and very small. Wouldn’t recommend staying here in a room with more than 2 people. It was hard to find the reception initially as well. The good thing about this place is the location and free wifi. Mykonos is a party island so you’ll need to accept that there will be noise all night long.

The only good thing about this place is the location - right in the heart of mykonos. The family also is so nice and friendly. Good luck trying to find it, no sign for reception or anything. You pay expensive prices cause it’s mykonos. We were a group of 4 - basically cramped into the smallest room. 3 beds side by side with the tiniest fold up bed next to it where the fridge couldn’t open. If it was 2 people, stay would of been slightly better. So would only book here if ur solo or a couple and want something cheap in the heart of mykonos old town. Paid half the price for such a nice spacious studio in Naxos.

The place is not bad as it is very close to the main attractions and clubs, but it is not the best, as soon as we entered we were greeted by a cockroach in full view on the floor, then also the bathroom is not among the cleanest. Too bad!

€285 a night for a quadruple that wasn't a quadruple but two separate rooms on a roof with an outside bathroom. Cramped, dirty, with a strong musty smell, the sheets were so worn you could see through them. Music until 6:30...NO THANKS

I had booked 3 months in advance and sent a message 2 days before to find out how to get there: a laconic response with no real indication, just the bus stop. After a long time going round and round with my suitcase in the sun, I finally found the place. The owner's mother called her who started by telling me on the phone that I didn't have a reservation. Your coldness that doesn't admit of reply. She finally found me and sent me to another place without a name or indication. The room and bathroom were okay, nothing more, and quite small. No place to put your suitcase on the floor. In short, a deplorable welcome that contrasts with all those I had encountered in other accommodations in the Cyclades, but I had a place to sleep. This lady gave me the impression of being a telephone cash drawer. Earplugs recommended, but like everywhere else in Mykonos.

TERRIBLE experience! First of all, the lady who welcomed us in the structure with the BeB sign showed zero availability and without explaining anything she led us to another street, another alley. Dirty alley, very noisy, completely different from what was described in the description and photos attached on the websites and booking. When we entered the apartment it was a NIGHTMARE! Dilapidated, old, dirty with a kitchenette equipped with dirty and rusty utensils (at the limit of hygienic safety), a bathroom used for 5 people of 2m2: UNCOMMENTABLE! Everything at the limit of hygienic safety, broken chairs, fixtures with rusty iron handles (tetanus risk). The photos published above also do not correspond to reality, I strongly recommend staying away from this structure!

Despite the apartment being in a nice central location away from the chaos, the price is very high. The spaces are small and the cleanliness is poor. The accessories and cupboards in the kitchen, bathroom and in general throughout the apartment are insufficient for the number of guests expected. There are no shelves and cupboards to put clothes and personal items. Some dishes were broken or dirty. The bathroom flooded regularly and some lights did not work.
