Koukoumi Hotel Mykonos

My partner and I had an incredible 6 nights at Koukoumi at the end of May 2024. Isobel the owner has created a feeling of home and family with a wonderful vegan philosophy where nature is a precious treasure and people are celebrated - nothing is too much trouble! Not only is the food incredible (I have been to a lot of vegan restaurants and this food- fresh, creative, healthy by a fabulous female chef is by far amongst the best and cocktails, recommend the Geisha cocktail) but the yoga, gym, spa, outdoor courtyard and general vibe feels like a luxury retreat combined with staying with wonderful friends. Staff gave us recommendations of beautiful unspoilt beaches, fabulous clubs (scorpios) and great restaurants. ☀️ The spa is a haven - not flashy - but peaceful and serene, Martha has divine healing hands for massages! Daily yoga and meditation with Alex in the dreamy yoga space made me more aware of the gift of this time away, and the gift we have of each and everyday. This all makes Koukoumi much more than ‘just’ a five star hotel. 🧘🏽‍♀️ It’s a challenge to run a vegan hotel like this in Mykonos and to hold true to these values and philosophy but Koukoumi manages this. 🌱 I cannot recommend enough! I just can’t wait to return….

This oasis is welcoming from first entrance. The staff is absolutely caring with the goal of guests enjoyment. I needed this retreat. Daily yoga, meditation, and massages. The bed was comfortable and the room was beautifully designed. Such a relaxing time! All meals were vegan and absolutely delicious by a creative chef...breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The Chocolate Lava cake is a chocolate lover dream 😋. A must...!

Just love the place ! Just love everything here the energy, the people , the building , the light ! The calmness!!!! The food is heavenly and the menu so uniquely crafted. Additionally the gym is one of my favorites I’ve experienced in a hotel, and the yoga and personal training programs are a joy. In all trueness from the moment you enter the hotel you feel you enter an ideal world! An atmosphere of kindness and calmness. Wonderful people. PS: Freddo cappuccino … a must !

We came here for our honeymoon and we would definitely come back again! One of the nicest places we have stayed!So convenient to be at a hotel that has so much vegan food at a super high quality! The pool was so nice and had many fun seating options! Loved having the complimentary breakfast! Vegan room service is such a nice thing to have too! Unfortunately while we were there they didn’t have enough staff for a couples treatment so I can’t comment on the spa aspect! The car they had for hire is quite expensive if you are only 2 people although it was very reliable and great for a bigger group or for a more luxury ride. We had some luck using an app to get rides! If you are staying here I most highly recommend the bike tour out of the extra activities! It was the best thing we did in Mykonos besides staying here! The boat tour to Delos/Rhenia that we were set up with wasn’t the best quality so I don’t recommend that activity!

Had a wonderful time at Koukoumi, the hosts are warm, kind. The pool area is relaxing. The food is what I call art on a plate. Breakfast, an abundance of fruits, baked goods. Best massage and facial at the spa. Would definitely go back :) I would like to warn travellers if visiting Santorini do not stay at MOD, the experience was extremely negative. We however came across some fellow vegan travellers that stayed at Ethos Vegan Suites on Santorini and had a nice stay and highly recommend it. Enjoy your stay in Greece, beautiful country and people !!!

I can't rate this place highly enough. From the warm greeting to the sincere farewell, my wife and I enjoyed every moment. The food is something special and 100% vegan. The room was pristine and the bed extremely comfortable. Thank you Team Koukoumi for making our stay special.

The rooms and facilities are all excellent. Lovely staff and it’s so great not to have to worry if food is vegan!! We went full board and never got bored with the options. Would recommend the amazing tasting menu for a special treat🙂

This is a centre for holistic healing and wellness where people can balance their body, mind and spirit with nourishing, live foods in an eco-friendly setting. Refreshing air and positive energy radiating around the property. Rooms are luxurious, generously proportioned, and are decorated and constructed from local, sustainable materials. In short, after a few days at the Koukoumi Hotel, Im emerge refreshed, rejuvenated and relaxed; a whole different person!

If you are looking for a luxurious stay in Mykonos with the most amazing vegan food and customer service then book a stay in Koukoumi. As soon as we arrived the staff were polite and accommodating. They checked us in and provided us with a refreshing drink. We were then shown to our beautiful room which was very clean and spacious. The pool was beautiful with plenty of bed available each day. We also had a 30 minute complimentary massage included in our package. We then ended up booking two more massages as they were so good. They were very professional and personalised the massage to our needs. We booked a meditation session which my partner and I loved. My partner also book a PT session with Alex. He talked through his diet regime and provided training he could use once returning home. Now the food! What can I say! If you are vegan (or not) you will taste some amazing dishes. We went for full board so we had the opportunity to try nearly all the dishes. The breakfast was spectacular with so many options. The vegan strawberry filled croissants were delicious! There was a buffet breakfast and you could also order a cooked breakfast too. the pancakes and the scrambled tofu were my two favourite breakfast dishes. For lunch, I loved the chicken Caesar salad. The chicken coating was so crispy! At dinner we were again spoilt with unique flavours. One of my favourites was the risotto! The chef is a fantastic cook and there was not one dish that was disappointing. We stayed for three nights and were disappointed to leave. If you are looking for a beautiful vegan retreat to relax with holistic and well-being and eat some amazing food definitely choose Koukoumi!
