Hotel Anastasia Village

We were very unsatisfied with the Anastasia Village hotel in Mykonos booked by the Gattinoni Travel agency in Turin (Alpitour package). Arrived at the hotel we find the access road to the structure used as a parking lot, making access with suitcases difficult. They give us a magnetic card as a key but when we get to the room we discover that it doesn't work. I go back and they give me a metal key instead and ask me to leave it at reception every morning so they can clean the room. We will later find out that they don't need it to enter, they probably have a duplicate. We arrived and found the room dirty. There was a lot of sand on the floor and even inside the wardrobe and blonde hair in the shower. Even the curtains are dirty. The furnishings are certainly not modern. The bed is not double but there are 3 single beds. There is a single power socket in the room, so we can only charge one device at a time. Where there should be a second plug is a hole with wires hanging out. Opening the wardrobe there is a nail sticking out and my partner is injured. Let's go to the swimming pool. The pool loungers are dirty, full of stains. The windows around the pool are dusty, someone has even written on it how to do it on cars that haven't been washed for a long time. We go back to our room and try to take a shower, but we discover that the shower siphon is clogged. The water goes down very little, flooding the bathroom. The water in the shower is either hot or very cold, it is impossible to regulate it. I go to complain at the reception. At least a couple of the people at the reception are really rude. They tell us that they will call the technician the following morning. The next day we wake up and go to breakfast. There is no one to welcome us. The breakfast is of poor quality. The juice is undrinkable. There is little food, a few uninviting-looking muffins. Lack of cutlery and napkins. We go to the beach. Returning to the hotel, not only was the room not cleaned, but there was no water at all. They explain to us that it's not just a problem with our room. To go to dinner we have to wait two hours for the water to come back to be able to take a shower and take off the sand and sunscreen. I protest again and finally they send someone to clean the room. In the following days the cleaning of the room will not be optimal. There will continue to be sand on the floor and the bathroom cabinet is not cleaned despite leaving it open to point out that it is dirty. Our room overlooks an access road where a tanker truck arrives very early in the morning to bring water making a lot of noise and waking us up. On the last day, the flush mechanism breaks down. I go to reception to report it. Back at the hotel it obviously hasn't been fixed. By now it's late and the reception is closed and we are forced to fill the wastebasket with water and use it as a toilet. The next morning I go to the

Structure "sold" as equipped and "top" considering the price and instead as soon as the first problems arrived. Booked a double room with a baby cot and on our arrival they took us to a room with two single beds. After complaining, they offered us to join the single beds and add a single bed (for a 5 month old baby). After a further complaint, they took us to the double room with the promise of bringing us the cot. Crib arrived in the afternoon borrowed from another broken and dirty structure. We had to contact the tour operator who took it upon himself to buy a cot. Of the 2 restaurants and the bar indicated in the profile, only the beach bar/restaurant is accessible with exorbitant prices. The village beach is only accessible for a fee at €40 per person. During breakfast we found cereals with camules and most of the dishes are left open without any type of hygienic norm. On the last night at 5am a couple accidentally entered our room, after asking reception the only response was "we don't know how that happened". Exasperated, we continued the journey to another island but on our return for the last night, another amusing surprise: the room was no longer equipped with a remote control for the air conditioning because they don't even have a remote control per room, after having offered us to let us set it to fixed with the possibility of exchange only until the closing of the reception only with our anger they left us the remote control of the reception. Avoid staying at this property if you don't want to ruin your holiday!!!

I state that we were brought to this facility due to a canceled flight by Volotea. As soon as we arrived we immediately realized the unfriendliness of the owners. The rooms were just a disgrace. There were no plug sockets, they smelled bad and there were also several spiders in the corners of the room. We try to open the shower and we realize that there was no hot water. At breakfast, after having spent the night in these conditions, only small savory things are prepared for us (such as stuffed sachets) which are nothing short of inedible and a poor coffee from the machines. Luckily we had the day after me and my lucidity to go away. In all this the owners were rude and indeed ... it seemed that we were a burden! Absolutely to be avoided.

This hotel is terrible. Surely the worst hotel you can find on the island of Mykonos at an excessively expensive price. Nothing in this hotel justifies the price of this dump: the quality is more than mediocre, absolutely avoid it! You will spend a very bad night in the room: - impossible to sleep because the springs of the bed shear your back, the mattress is dented back pain and insomnia guaranteed - the air conditioning will make you sick and has not had to be changed for many years many years, and to a very rough functioning - a revolting smell on arrival in the room - the bathroom is a dump, but the shower works miraculously - no wifi in the hotel (at 400 euros per night we could have hoped anyway) The non-existent decoration, it really does not feel like the hotel - no fridge or water available, and I will not mention the view from the room on the roofs and air conditioning - breakfast is deplorable and the word is weak: regardless of the very limited choice, the bread and the croissants taste of plastic and the orange juice tastes outdated. We were sick the next day with food poisoning that kept us bedridden for 24 hours!! - the hotel is out of town very complicated to book a taxi even for the airport - To this must be added the paid beach at 50 euros / day with a noise of music not possible continuously, the opposite of relaxing - 5 deckchairs available for this hotel at the swimming pool and without parasol, guaranteed insolation A total scam, do not spoil your holidays and go your way.

What a great vacation! Despite Covid we decided to leave for Mikonos, we relied on azurway travel which offered this structure and it turned out to be an excellent choice for our stay on the island. Excellent organization of the tour operator ... very characteristic hotel that reflects the typical image of the Cyclades: white buildings and blue profiles ... simple but suggestive! The view over the bay below leaves you breathless. Good cleaning and excellent value for money of the holiday package. Super recommended
