Plaza Hotel Mutsu

The building wasn't very new and the entrance was dimly lit, but the inside was clean and the staff were friendly.

The hotel is located in a large shopping area. It is tall and stands out (during the day), but at night, there is no lighting and the hotel name is dim, so it may be difficult to find. In particular, the entrance to the parking lot is not marked, so if you are worried, it may be easier to enter the hotel on the left side if you take National Route 338 to Prefectural Route 272. The whole building has deteriorated with age, and the rust and stains on the glass windows are particularly bad. The front desk is also dark like an Asian country hotel. The good thing is that the unit bath in the room has a huge window, so it is not very bright. There is no safety deposit box, so you have to take all your valuables with you when going out or eating. There is no alcohol vending machine, no convenience store, so you have to buy alcohol at the front desk. For dinner, you can choose between seafood and meat (because we had seafood the night before), so when I chose meat, I was served fried chicken and teppanyaki meat. There was no explanation or description of the meat, so I was disappointed. I would have preferred a single steak. However, I guess it can't be helped since there is only one floor staff member. The same staff member also serves breakfast, so the steamer with no food was left as it was. The main dishes are Japanese, and the only specialty products are apple juice and *food. The website is so beautiful that it's a bit of a surprise...
