What a disaster travelling from Mudgee to Port Macquarie, being directed by the master of darkness ”google” on to some God forsaken back road full of potholes and ending up with a destroyed tyre and to our chagrin, no spare (as it is a Mercedes with those stupid run flats that nobody tells you about). Anyhow, long story short, we ended up at the Remington feeling pretty miserable, and how nice to be greeted by sympathetic Cate, a glass of bubbles, comfort dinner and a comfortable bed. Thank guys, you certainly helped turn a horrible day into something more memorable

The price was terrific value. The young lady who checked us in was very friendly. Having codes to open the room door is a good as it eliminates the problem of losing the key. Good size room. The bed was comfortable. Having a seat in the bathroom is great.

My Wife and I stayed here in a family room with our Grandson recently and were really pleased with our stay. We stayed in a family room which had a double and two single beds, ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a reverse cycle air conditioner which was most welcome considering the winter nights were quite chilly Whilst the motel is a little dated it is beautifully kept with lovely gardens and is very handily located for food and shopping. Megan is a very personable host who made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. We would choose to stay here again when we are next in the area
