Hotel looks nice on the outside but you’ll see lots of thing waiting for you. When we arrived in the hotel we see that the people who are working at reception were nice but doesn’t give the basic information about the hotel unless you ask lots of questions. Nothing was explained. Then we switched to our room by ourselves and found out there was a bottle of water which already had been used. Thankfully the Bellboy helped us and solved the problem, we appreciate him. He is the guy who saves receptions lack of information and lack of interest. After relaxing a little we decided to have some air at the restaurant area which is the only place that has open area. But no one cares what you asked or even doesn’t bother coming and asking you as if you’d like to have something. And that’s our first 30 minutes unfortunately. We booked for 3 nights and we’ll see what’s going to happen next. Maybe it’s just our experience.

I stayed 5 days, but was seriously considering staying a couple days longer, this is how much I enjoyed the city but surely also the hotel. Since my travel itineraries were quite fixed I decided against it. But when returning to Muscat I will for sure try to stay at the Royal Tulip again. I personally liked the location since being close to the bus line 1 and 9, which is a big benefit. Having the Oman Avenues mall close by surely also is beneficial for quickly getting the things one needs when traveling, or just a quick bite when not in the mood for restaurants. The room was big and clean. Good bed and pillows. Very friendly and helpful staff, everywhere. And on top of it a wonderful pool area at the roof withe a great view over Muscat. Wonderful, I will be back!

Very nice hotel. It is affordable in Muscat. The room is not bad, but the windows cannot be opened. The overall facilities are still very good. The breakfast is a bit rough, and there are not many dishes that can be cooked for lunch and dinner, but it's okay. The service of the hotel is still in place. Overall, I can give a 4-star praise.

It was terrible experience I had on this property (citadine al ghubrah muscat) I was traveling almost 24hours for holiday vacation, I selected this hotel to stay since near by the aiport, unfortunately I chosen the wrong hotel, upon check- in the lady receptionist asking me a full payment for the stay, I have no enough cash omr. But I have $ dollars with me, the total cost of my stay is only omr. 22 I have 15 omr and the rest 7 omr. I will pay by dollars, I informed the lady receptionist that I will pay the rest with $ dollars, she said that the hotel will not accept $ dollars, I was explained to her that I just came from the aiport and I was so tired shall I pay the rest by evening I have to exchange my dollars outside, or my cousin will come by evening and pay the rest of the amount cost of only omr. 7 or else I will quarantine my id or passport to keep , I will exchange the dollars outside by evening , but she refused me to check in, now I realize the discrimination /criticism,I decided to walk out and check in to other hotel, thank God other hotel very considerate not even asking the deposit even id's qurrantee, will I hope other guest will not experience the same treatment that I had experience , you have to improve your hospitality and service, especially front office staffs, never ever to booked this hotel anymore,many hotel choices in Muscat. Thank you and have a good day!

But I see about your Chef Sahid, not smiling while working.because maybe we are Pilipino, because we request a Omellete egg.. but the face is look like he dont want to make a omelete...and no greetings for us. I stayed for three or four nights. The hotel is a little remote and, in May, the outside temperature too high however I slept well, I liked the Belgian and Thai restaurants and enjoyed the gym. As ever, people matter more than places. I was cheered by Jennifer’s friendly greeting at breakfast, Jay was prompt to resolve my urge for chocolate and, above all I must praise Khaled who calmly helped with what was, for me, a printing crisis.

Breakfast is good for taking children. The space is very comfortable. Compared to the narrow space of the hotel, the space here is simply too convenient to say that the location is super convenient and the largest mall in Oman. If you like to cook for yourself, you can buy ingredients in the Carrefour store. There is a separate parking lot at the door and there is a taxi for a long time, but the taxi must be told first. It’s really good to say that you can wash your clothes yourself. This time I found that there are pots and tableware for cooking. They are all available. The balcony needs the front desk to open and you can dry clothes! It’s really convenient for business trips. By the way, the omllet in the lobby restaurant is very Chinese!

very good! The most satisfying hotel in Muscat. Newly opened, very clean, very spacious, almost 100 square meters in size. The most important thing is that the kitchen and laundry room are very practical, allowing us to make and eat dumplings during the winter solstice. The facilities are very complete. The only thing that can be improved is that I hope that the dishwasher cleaning blocks can be provided in time next time. Recommended to stay a few more days!

We had a an amazing stay at the hotel. It was a business trip with institutional quarantine. The staff were professional, supportive and well informed. More like a 4.5 star hotel - well decorated, very clean, spacious rooms and modern. Recently built. No issues finding parking outside and there's also an underground car park. Beautiful rooftop swimming pool and good sauna / spa facilities, although the ladies sauna wasn't working over the Xmas period. The adjoining mall is new-ish and has a large supermarket but many of the shops/restaurants are unfortunately vacant. Much to our surprise, the Omani gentleman in a grey suit wasn't very friendly at reception and was ignoring some of the non-Omani guests - the Indian staff were much more welcoming and friendly after we had to wait a while to be attended to during check-in. Great value if one of the cheaper 4 star hotel options in Muscat (breakfast add on was overpriced - almost the cost of the room!)
