I have never seen such conditions in my life: cockroaches of all sizes crawled on the floor and walls, dirty linen, old furniture and plumbing, ready to fall apart. I had one night booked, I covered the bed with my sheets and lay on top of it, everything was so dirty and unpleasant. Loud music played at night until 4 o'clock. It was so audible that it seemed like there were no walls at all. The elevator was old - it rattled so much that the walls vibrated. The only plus was the location, right next to the port, that's why I booked one night in this slum.

The room is not large and the facilities are old, but the transportation and dining are convenient nearby. It is right on the seaside. It only takes ten minutes to walk to mutrah souq and mutrah fort. From mutrah fort, you can take pictures of the most beautiful S Bay of Oman's seaside.

The location is very good, very close to the fish market and the fort. There is a nightclub downstairs and it is very noisy at night. Everyone decides for themselves

Overall an extremely poor experience. AC didn't work, there was extremely loud music until 3am on both nights, cockroach found in bathroom, balcony/window covered in pigeon poo so couldn't even get fresh air (pigeon poo is very dangerous and can cause a variety of diseases), using some power sockets made the lights flicker, there as no toilet paper provided, only 1 towel, wardrobe door was broken, the only bedding was a stained fluffy blanket without a top bed sheet, TV didn't work. On the second night I asked the manager to turn down the music, but they didn't bother. Given the price I wasn't expecting much, but this was generally awful, and would NOT recommend anyone stay here. I tried very hard to find good things; the bottom sheet clean, soap and shampoo provided, complimentary bottle of water each, and morning papers downstairs. We stayed at this hotel in a twin room in November 2022.
