Hilton Garden Inn Muscat Al Khuwair

Good location: a big supermarket and plenty of restaurants nearby plus Oman Avenues Mall and Muscat Grand Mall in just a half hour walking away. City's attractions like Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Opera or Qurum Beach are quite close to the hotel. It takes only about 15-20 minutes to get from there to airport by taxi, and if you would like to take a bus, A1 route stop is not too far on Sultan Qaboos Street. Hotel staff is very friendly, I especially enjoyed my breakfast time there.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Muscat and was thoroughly impressed by the flawless experience. The check-in was seamless, with friendly staff who were attentive and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and equipped with a comfortable bed, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-designed workspace. The hotel’s facilities, including the fitness center and pool, were pristine and well-maintained. Its convenient location made exploring Muscat a breeze. Every detail was perfect, making my stay truly exceptional. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Muscat!

Good location close to city center nice view to the mountains

The amenities could have been better, ie Bar, music centre or better spa facilities and swimming pool, service was great very attentive. Cleaning could have used slight improvement and the fridges dont keep the drinks cool enough. Also they charge more than other hotels for soft drinks!

I like this hotel that has a lot of good features. I booked on half board dinner is awful. It cost me 10 extra dollars to book dinner and breakfast and really the dinner wasn't worth the $5 if you divide the meals evenly. The fish was putrid and the selection was substandard. I did manage to get $5 worth of food out of the dinner buffet. I like eggplant luckily. The room's very nice they have two pools one for women only which I would never use and they don't sell alcohol here. Those are the bad points. The room isn't very good condition The housekeeper is a very nice man. The added benefit to staying in this hotel is that it does have one washer and one dryer and I have three loads of filthy clothes. I'm in the process of doing my last load currently. Another bad thing about this hotel is they block you from using the Wi-Fi the minute you step outside so you could use their overpriced taxis. You have to use the Wi-Fi from inside that way you can access your taxi apps and not use the overprice taxis here. The taxis are about 80% more. I would stay here again due to the low price of the bookingand the good condition of the room. Skip dinner there is a fantastic Turkish place in the nearest mall that's about an 8 minute walk..
