The staff is so friendly and kind, the room was spacious and lovely! When we were too cold, they brought us a space heater and when we returned from gorilla trekking, they turned out mud-covered gators and shoes into almost new again! Lovely hotel!

Great location near Kinigi, Volcanoes National Park, Gorilla trekking, and the Golden Monkeys. Unassuming from the road, Virunga Inn Resort is a beautiful property with private rooms/cabins, portable heater was a plus, tropical grounds, wonderful stand alone bar area with fire pit. The staff and service were outstanding (nightly hot water bottles in the bed were great, cleaning the boots after the hike and delivering them to the room was a very nice touch!). 1 minute drive to the Dian Fossey museum (Karisoke Research Center). The meals were delicious with a range of choices for all tastes.

I stayed here for a night and had a fantastic experience. I really enjoyed the natural ambiance of the hotel and the staff was extremely welcoming. The food was amazing. I'd highly recommend anyone stay here and definitely plan to stay here again.

A spacious, clean, and comfortable room with a terrace to view flowers and incredible birds. The staff was helpful and kind and the food was very good. The gardens lining the paths around the hotel were beautiful. Definitely recommend Virunga!

Friendly staff - all were polite but specifically, our driver, Alex, the dining team, and the woman who cleaned our lodge were outstanding! Food - loved the pasta and fruit Lodges - they were clean and practical. I enjoyed feeling secluded and surrounded by luscious gardens Location - very close to the start of the hikes

We stayed at Virunga Inn Resort and Spa for our Gorilla and Golden Monkey trekking. The accommodation was superb! The rooms were bigger than most hotel and resort rooms we have stayed at. The bed was extremely comfortable! The level of service was exceptional. The staff were all very friendly and hospitable. Each day when one of our treks was completed we would return to be treated by the staff taking our boots and garters(which they supply) off and cleaning them incredibly well that they look brand new each time, ready for the next day's trek! The food was also exceptional. Lunch and diner menu changed daily and the many choices were all delicious. We did not have one bad meal there! We also organised our transport through them and have no complaints. Our driver guide Amir was superb. Punctual each morning and such a safe driver, essential in that area! I would highly recommend Virunga Inn Resort and Spa as a base for exploring Volcanoes National Park Rwanda!

I had a wonderful time there , the place was tidy and clean as there were really good view , my favorite part was the food where it was delicious and was delivered in a professional way, i wont forget to thank the chef for the food and the polite workers that delivered the food.

I had an amazing stay at Virunga Inn Spa & Resort. The room was spotless, spacious, and had all the essentials for a truly relaxing experience. The service was outstanding – each staff member was warm, attentive, and ready to assist with any request.
