Planned two nights away for an emotional time for the parting of my closest friend. Weather was perfect except for the wind but that was ok. The garden's and pot plants at the back of the motel were gorgeous. It was beautiful just to walk around and look at them.

There wasn't a licenced premises (as in no restaurant, except breakfast included which was cereal toast juice &/or tea/coffee) but there was a "bar fridge" including alcohol in it for sale!! Concerned for children pregnant ladies & generally people who need to avoid consuming so as it's bad enough charging for bottles of spring water too when I've stayed at other motels where I never have to pay? The price nightly was too much also as there were no tiolettries in the room either & the bed & pillows weren't very comfortable. * Only stayed there as everywhere else was full* Was looking up somewhere else of a similar name as well so there was alot of confusion ending up there & the booking system mucked up on me this time it appears to end up here when I didn't mean to..

We loved our stay. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beautiful river. Bob was very welcoming and helpful. The room was wonderful. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Bob supplied real milk in a jug for our cup of tea and there was a nice simple breakfast included (cereal and toast)

For a three-star stay, the Tweed Valley Motel punches way above its weight. The service, the rooms, the cleanliness, our location in a first floor room with a big balcony overlooking the river and the canefields beyond - it was all great and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Murwullimbah. Alsso, there are two restuarants next door, and a bottleshop within easy walking distance.

We stayed in a very clean, good sized riverside room with comfortable beds, fans and air-conditioning, good kitchen facilities and a refurbished shower with plenty of hot water. We also had access to an outdoor dining table and bbq facilities so we could enjoy the beautiful view of the Tweed River, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. In addition, a complimentary continental breakfast and reasonable price made it a motel we’d stay at again. Furthermore, the staff were welcoming and attentive. Many thanks to Kerrie who was so kind to my family at a difficult time.

I came down with covid and couldn't attend my booking but the motel were happy to keep my money and not even offer a credit, the motel said I would have to contact bookings.com to receive a refund or credit but bookings.com told me to contact the motel directly but still haven't heard from anyone, very disappointed. I won't be recommending this motel to anyone again.

excellent service very friendly and clean. acess to the river as we love to fish. contanental breakfast if you want most impressed. fish shop next door make the best nachos. will vist again.it is very quiet dont hear any traffic.
