Lovely spot, in the heart of Murpheys. Clean and easy check in. Very friendly staff and the breakfast is cooked on the spot for you. Quaint and cute with lots of charm, for a great price. Literally everything is within walking distance and a fun spot to do some relaxing and/or wine tasting.

This gorgeous property is located within a hop skip and a jump of all the fun stuff to do in downtown Murphys. The accommodations are beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and the lobby and dining area make you feel as though you are staying with family. The staff is absolutely the best and the breakfasts are prepared to perfection. This little sanctuary is an absolute gem. I will go back again and again.

Our stay here was perfect! Marie made sure our room was beautiful and clean. Sarah made a delicious breakfast. We loved our room - Sugar Pine - which was beautifully appointed and had a little balcony where we had a nightcap. The Dunbar is walking distance to all the wonderful shops and restaurants on Main Street. The B&B was so quiet at night we slept like babies. Can't wait to go back.

My wife and I have enjoyed visiting Murphy’s over the years. Lucky for us we stumbled upon Dunbar house a few years ago and it is now our go to whenever visiting. From the moment you get there the host makes sure everything is perfect. The great breakfast every morning is a plus. And it’s within walking distance of downtown. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Ponderosa room was comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Quiet area. Short walk to restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay again and recommend to our friends and family

Dunbar is a spectacular venue. A beautifully remodeled 120+ year old building. Michael has done a wonderful job making it very comfortable. And the breakfasts are outstanding. The chef asks what you'd like to order (omlet, bacon, sausage, english muffin, etc.) and it's served in minutes. Will go back again and again.

Dunbar House was way beyond what was advertised! The owner was very nice, informative and gracious. The Chef Sarah made wonderful breakfast. The town of Murphy's was friendly with lots of places to eat great food. From fish to meat and of course lots of wine tasting rooms.

This was a last minute stay in Murphy’s and the Dunbar House was amazing! So clean and everything was very comfortable. Common areas were very nice as well. The bathroom in our room (The Ponderosa) was gorgeous! Breakfast was very good and Marie was very accommodating. We would stay here again without any hesitation!
