We (6)are 50+ years longtime friends that enjoy traveling together. We were very happy staying in Murphys CA in a beautiful home rental via Victoria Inns. Every detail was noticed like the first impression of the home & beautiful garden, front porch with rocking chairs plus the comfortable beds, 4 bedrooms with 3 king beds & one queen. I would stay again!

A bit difficult to locate as faced an alleyway. Stayed 2 nights in Room 9 ($328). Personnel were all friendly and courteous with easy check in. Free parking adjacent to Inn. Interesting building with a western gold rush vibe. The continental breakfast was very good and served in a nice room. The room itself was large with a seating area and balcony. Tall ceilings! Clean, the linens were good quality, comfortable mattress, showerhead was tall and water pressure good. Bottled water and amenities provided. Ok light control. A/C was welcomed. CONS: no elevator. Room 9 overlooks dining courtyard with music from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the bass reverberates into the room ALL day. 🙁 Bathroom sink and toilet very low to floor. Sink handle is broken. Towels are rough. Edges around room perimeter and bathroom all need a deep cleaning. The upholstered furniture is worn out. The balcony is quite cobwebby and dirty. Note: tall people can see the dust on top of moldings on doors, lamp shades, ect. Recommend with above notes.

We stayed at one of the vacation rentals. The rental was clean, well maintained and stocked and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were great. Could have used a sponge as the one under the sink looked gross but that is easy to buy.

Stayed in the Doris Suite. Room needs more lighting! Noisy due to the restaurant below which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bar band noise heard until very late at night on the main street. No place to hang anything in bathroom. Please fix the broken hook behind bathroom door! Only one chair in room to sit on.

This is a very cozy place to stay. I’ll be back at the end of July and will be getting a more luxurious room this time. During my last visit, I had a basic room, which was fine.
