We are on day 6 of a 10 day all inclusive stay here at Iberostar Playa de Muro Village and have been very impressed so far. The arrival at the hotel was the most attentive we have ever experienced and the staff were so helpful and welcoming. We are in a ground floor family room near reception. The room is spacious and clean, with sliding doors between the sleeping areas. My son says the sofa bed is the best he has ever slept on. There is a small issue with the bathroom where the shower leaks water all over the bathroom floor but there are enough towels to deal with this. Most people head to the sunloungers to reserve their spot around 8:30am. There are plenty of towels supplied and you can take them to the beach too. The beach is directly by the pool, it is a public beach, so you have to pay for parasols and loungers but we tend to base ourselves by the pool and experience both throughout the day. The beach itself is soft sand and clear waters that are fairly shallow so great for children. The entertainment is excellent, lots going on throughout the day and into the evening. Dancers, magicians, a clown for the little children, various clubs and activities, you can be as active or chilled as you like. The food is incredible. The inclusive wine is fairly awful, but you can pay extra for better. There are some good branded spirits available to choose from. I was a little concerned as there are only a couple of restaurants to choose from and I get fed up with buffet service after a while but the food is to die for. Last night oysters, lobster and other seafood on the menu. The chef’s specials that are prepared as you watch are always incredible. It’s a shame the kids football is only for children up to 12 as there isn’t much for our teenage son to enjoy. Other than that, a wonderful hotel, perfect location, fabulous service and great food.
