The resort tried to charge me extra money for my kids stay as Trip.com did not communicate 4 people but 2. We showed paperwork as proof and Trip customer service called and it wasn’t enough despite paperwork saying 2 kids and 2 adults. They wanted to charge me another $800 for my kids stay after I already paid. Trip asked I pay and they’d reimburse me but I didn’t trust anyone and it sounded too good to be true. One of these two screwed up and almost ruined my vacation. Hotel “figured it out” and made the problem go away but I don’t know who was at fault. Hotel staff were amazing, location was amazing, food was good for breakfast and crazy expensive for dinners. They tried to stick me in a smoking room and told me they were full, later they found another room for us that was much better. The issues were solved but this was disappointing experience on Iberostar reservations team and trip.com.

A fantastic hotel and island. This is a hotel that is 4* with 5*+ service. Our room was a stones throw away from the beach. The swimming pools and entertainment was excellent. The beach is very clean and the sea crystal clear. All staff are amazing, they always had a smile on their face/ were super welcoming. I would like to mention in particular: Fernando, Aurelia, Margo, Alberto David and Lily who went out of their way to look after us. We will be coming back again! Oct 2024. The Chauhan family.

Me and my husband have visited lagotel three times now and we love it so much we have booked to go again in August . Staff are lovely and friendly . Pool areas are lovely and clean . We especially love the adult pool . Rooms are nice and clean Only down fall is they don’t have a kettle but not to much of a problem we’re going to take a travel kettle with us next time . Entertained on a night is good too , the team are great with the kids . The beach is only a short walk away but there is a shuttle bus that runs free of charge . Highly recommend this hotel is great

Hallo team JS Alcudi Mar, we stayed at your hotel 2 weeks ago and we had Room Number 343 and 341 and i wanted to tell you how happy we were during our stay there. The Housekeeping Barbara were very friendly to us, Miguel at the bar was very nice even his English was not so perfect but he understood what we wanted. He is a friendly guy. Francesca at the Front Office had always a smile on her face. At the Restaurant, Practice Sara were very talkative, Adriana too and i must not forget the friendly Restaurant Manager.Top men. What impressed me was? when there were a problem with the Wifi at the pool!! it was quick repaired. I must thank Francesca one time and also the hotel manager too. He was very friendly to me. Almundea served us nearly each evenings at Dinner time and she was super friendly. One man at the resto with grey hair and very thin was making his job well and he was always walking/running same as Speedy gonzales .I can say that all the personals are making a very good job.
