Zafiro Bahia

Brilliant hotel, staff were friendly, hotel was clean and food was second to none. Facilities were excellent, 7 pools, gym, sporting activities and kids club and private walkway to the beach. Out of the way from the hustle and bustle of town but still easily accessible.

We had a brilliant one week stay at the Zafiro Bahia hotel. We’re a family of 4. (2 adults, 4yo & 8yo) We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a hot tub. We barely used the hot tub or the upper level, not helped by the fact it looked out onto the car park/the hotel next door with a distant side sea view. The hot tub lights didn’t work and the control panel was broken. The area was also lacking some hooks to hang towels/robes. The apartment itself was nice and had everything we needed. There was however mould on the ceiling near the bathroom and one of the taps only gave out cold water. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work, it would’ve been a nice touch to have a smart tv where we could’ve accessed apps such as Netflix & Disney etc. The hotel was generally very clean. The pools were brilliant, kids loved the wet bubble and pirate ship pool although slides slightly too small for our 8yo. The food was good especially the bistro bar/al a carte. Drinks were also very good. Staff were very nice in all areas of the hotel. The animation team were outstanding, our children loved them and attended several of the daytime activities ran by them. Sofia, Caroila & Yaco were particularly brilliant! Kids loved the aqua mat, foam party, T-shirt painting & daily games and Kahoot quizzes! The evening entertainment was also really great. The beach was beautiful but busy! Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would return but to a different room!

We spent our vacation at Zafiro Bahia in June with a large group (17 people, 5 rooms) and were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. The front desk managed all our requests and needs with great efficiency. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, and they helped organize a wonderful à la carte dinner, a special cake, and more. While I can't remember all the names, we greatly appreciated the help from Linda, Omar, and the other receptionists. The hotel is in a prime location, right on a beautiful beach that's perfect for long walks. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained. The restaurants were never too busy, offering a wide variety of delicious food to suit different tastes. Ice cream was available all day in various areas of the hotel. There were plenty of pools for both younger and older kids. Adults enjoyed the inside pool with the steam room and sauna. The evening entertainment was enjoyable for everyone, both kids and adults. Our entire group had a blast, with plenty of activities and fun for all ages.
