My review seems to have been deleted, worst hotel EVER, overpriced, overcrowded totally misrepresented on TUI site. All inclusive by name only - ice creams amounted to milk lolly accessed at only restaurant, drinks awful, limited all round, entertainment bad, apart from Tui reps. Will never return.

Just returned from 7 nights stay at Alcudia Pins. This is officially called Tui Blue Alcudia Pins and it’s part of the Grouphotel brand (chain). PROs - location: right on the beach . Only 15 mins bus journey to Alcudia Town. - bus stop right outside the hotel. It’s super easy to hop on / off. Buses frequent. Can pay cash or if pay by card you tap your card for each passenger when getting on at the front then tap again as getting off ( for the exact number of people). No need to wear masks anymore. - pools are fabulous. Main pool has a slide for adults & kids. - activities throughout the day . Aqua fit was fabulous ( not something I would normally do but it was great fun and accessible for all). - all hotel staff ( reception/ domestic/ catering/ TUI entertainment reps) were very friendly & helpful. - our two bedroom self catering apartment was perfect for our needs . Big space and balcony. - perfect holiday for families esp those with young children & babies . Very easy and accessible hotel / holiday. CONs - everything at the hotel is VERY expensive. I’m unsure if it’s the general state of the economy or just the hotel. The SPAR shop on site is very very expensive yet really convenient. It has everything you need. We were self catering and in hind sight I wish I had bought food from the Lidl up the road ( via bus). We unfortunately just bought everything from the SPAR ( also fresh fruit from Alcudia market which was excellent). - we were self catering and we took our own drinks to the nightly entertainment. This was allowed. I wouldn’t be happy to buy from the bar as 1) it was expensive 2) the queues were HUGE . I wouldn’t have been happy if I was All inclusive - I wouldn’t go without children . It mainly caters for families/ extended families ( saw a few grandparents with family) . I wouldn’t go as only adults. - night entertainment was suited more to kids under 5 years but some nights were suitable for older ( silent disco and Copacabana Act). - we read that flooring was slippy so we took anti slip footwear which put our minds at ease. We saw a few people slip- but not as many as I was expecting. - there is no indoor space to meet or for indoor entertainment if it rains - you only get two huge pans in self catering. Need a small pan and frying pan. Everything else in the kitchen is ok for a holiday. Note no oven or grill. - the lights are suddenly turned out around the bar & entertainment area & Astro turf ( kids) football area when the entertainment finishes about 11pm and you are ‘encouraged’ to leave . This is not good as you may want to stay up chatting for longer . There is no where else to go . On the whole we had a good holiday. Would we go back? No, as our child is 7 years old. If we had a baby, toddler , younger child or multiple children then yes we would. If going self catering we would bring more things with us : cereal, bread wraps, ketchup , salad dressings , few canned items.

The hotel is overall very nice, the quality of lodging was good, lots of swimming pools, the location is right on the beach. The service was good, except for cleaning, which seemed to be insufficient. The variety of food was very good, but I didn't find it tasty, unfortunately. But as one of the visitors commented previously - we could always find something to eat. The desserts were overall very good, I just lacked tea in the evening, which was served only in the morning. There was a huge line at the restaurant for breakfast at around 9:30, so if you plan to have a quick breakfast, make sure you come before 9:00 or closer to 10:00. The sea is shallow, very good for kids, sandy beach.

Ok, straight to it... Food: plenty of choice and decent quality in the 2 main restaurants. Especially the deserts which were proper cakes as opposed to 'little cubes of stuff' Sometimes you have to wait to be seated but never experienced more than a couple of minutes. Avoid 'The Taverna', you get one free visit on All Inclusive, however, really do not bother. The food is awful and went to the main restaurant afterwards to get proper food. Drink: good choice and not long to wait. Water machines around the site to fill bottles with Sparkling, Cold or Plain filtered water - good to fill up before going to the beach. Location: excellent, next to the beach, shops on site and others within walking distance Room: had everything we needed. In particular comfortable bed, powerful shower and good sized balcony. Beach: fairly narrow with beautiful fine golden sand. Good naturist stretch. Crystal clear water and shallow (max about 4ft) going out for 40ft - good for youngsters. Did not experience any strong currents. Entertainment: in general excellent for kids from what we could see......not so much for adults but did not mind as was off site most of the day. Evening entertainment was...ok. Again great for kids as the acts were mostly for them (kids magician, Disney themed musicals..) Overall: excellent hotel for families with younger children....really good! We have grown up children of our own and appreciate the efforts and patience we observed from the staff. Would not go there again without children. However, we enjoyed our stay.

Ended up leaving our holiday early. Overall review (and had read a lot of these reviews before deciding to book) so just take this as our experience for our family/situation, with hindsight i would not have booked this. The resort is fine. Not as new, but not tired or too run down. The apartments are nice enough, and the facilities generally are ok. The main issue with this hotel is that there are too many rooms for the size of the plot it is on. It leads to all sorts of stress on the holiday. There are queues for restaurants, the sun loungers are literally side-to-side-to-side-to-side. I was envisaging we could create a little area for us (two adults, two toddlers/twins aged 16 months), but that was just not possible as it was all crammed in. The pools were freezing. which might be fine for older kids who are running around and active all the time, but ours didn't enjoy being in the pools at all. The beach is lovely, but that is so much harder to manage supervision of your child unless you are both parents with both children. Food was OK, sometimes specifically good. I have no complaints. We were vegetarian so had more limited choices, but it was never really a problem. Vegan may have been harder. But the single restaurant open during lunch as part of all inclusive was a pain. It meant there was a queue to get in, and a queue for food once in. It was repetitive, but also it was nice so no issue. Same in the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Again though these restaurants are packed in as the resort is just too crowded so the sense of 'stress' in the restaurant is a thing. Our kids never really relaxed and neither did we at meal times. And this was off season...! we went end of Sept. 2023 If you're kids are over about 6 i think this would be a better experience, but even then, get ready to queue everywhere (drinks from the pool bar during hte day, drinks at the entertainment area in the evening, etc etc). So with TUI having so many other good places, i would go elsewhere.

Myself and my husband have just returned from 8 days here with our 10 month old son and would return next year without a second thought. Review as accurate and impartial as I can make it. 1. Hotel. Facilities are outstanding for people travelling with children - we had everything we needed and never had any issues getting round with a pushchair. Room had everything we required and cot was there when we arrived ready to go. Could a few areas do with a lick of paint? Yes. Did it remotely ruin our experience? No. Pools are great, especially the toddler pool where little one could plod about and not get disturbed by the bigger kids. Never struggled to get a sunbed, although when people start moving them it did make it slightly more difficult to walk around.Could probably do with a few more highchairs, there was the odd occasion we struggled to get one but staff always made sure we got sorted. The beach is right out back of the hotel and really nice beach. Quite a few shops nearby as well if needed and a bus stop right outside if you want a trip into Alcudia, not expensive and run really frequently. 2. Food. Loved the kids buffet, little one got to try loads of stuff he’d never had before. Food generally was really good - yes you are going to see some of the same dishes repeated, be realistic about all inclusive. Quality was great and the grill bar was a pleasant added extra. As a picky eater I never struggled to find something. 3. Staff. I cannot emphasise enough how fantastic the staff were. They could not have been more helpful or friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they always took time to engage with the kids. I’d rate them way above 10/10 if I could. The entertainment was generally good, similar to everywhere else we’ve been so what we expected. Apways wrapped up and quiet by 11 so as not to disturb kids sleep. All in all we had a fabulous holiday. Are there a few minor things that could be better, maybe. It would absolutely not stop us coming back here, I wouldn’t even think twice.

Mixed feelings about this hotel. When arriving, first impressions were good, clean, welcoming reception area. Walking to our room the main pool looked very nice and inviting. We were in block D with a view of the main pool and beach. The room smelt slightly musty but looked clean and tidy. Although we were all inclusive there was ample kitchen items for those who aren’t. On closer look the room it was quite tired. The light fittings are rusty, the handle in the bath was also rusty. The plaster above the skirting boards was blown and needs replacing as does the ceiling above the main bed. The food was very repetitive, breakfast in the main restaurant was what you would expect. Lunch was at the Green & Grill which is a smaller restaurant was much of the same everyday, wasn’t too impressed with the flies on the bread and around you while eating, puddings were the same everyday. Evening meal back at the main restaurant, I’m not saying there wasn’t a lot of choice, it was just boring, seeing the same night after night. Snack bar wasn’t great either, only ice pops included in all inclusive!!! There are 4 pools, the main one, little splash pool up by the pool bar, a baby pool with shade and a quieter pool. Both large pools were very cold, but ok once you got used to it. The beach was lovely, water clear and warm. Loungers cost € 14.25 for two with a sun shade or €4.75 for just the lounger. You get charged the same if you use them all day, half day or an hour. Evening entertainment seemed ok for kids but entertainment after 9pm it wasn’t great. Cocktails at the pool bar in the evening cost between €7 - €9 even for all inclusive, the same cocktails are cheaper at show bar. The hotel is mainly used by Dutch families along with British. All in all I found this hotel to be disappointing, have used Tui many times and I can honestly say this was worse one we have ever had.
