The major issue with the property is mould in the bathroom and lack of cleaning. The mould is everywhere and it’s very disgusting to use the bathroom. We booked two rooms and when complained about the mould, they asked us to change the rooms but same level mould is present in those rooms too. When we complained about it again, they said it’s due to humidity they get mould. As a Queenslander, I am hearing this first time from a reputed hotel. Please use a mould killer or a proper cleaning agent and ask your housekeeping supervisor (if you have one) to inspect the property after cleaning is done. To my shocking, the cleaner opened the door with her key when we were sleeping in the room with a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. They didn’t do our bed or change the sheets. Usually I don’t write negative reviews but this is highly unacceptable for a reputed hotel. The restaurant food and service was good. The staff were friendly and the hotel is close to all the amenities. We were a regular customer to this hotel but I will not book into this hotel anymore as Cleanliness should be a top priority and it is not at the moment.
