The boss is a couple, very enthusiastic, and can speak German, French and English. If you have any questions, the boss will answer them patiently. Few Chinese people go here to play. The environment around the hotel is very good, very close to nature. Because I smoke, the boss transferred me to a balcony room for free. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the hotel's food is a bit expensive and not very suitable for Chinese people's appetite. But it is still very good to go there for a short vacation and rest for two days.

Traditional, rustic, very family-friendly. We were repeat guests and felt very comfortable. Our hosts were extremely attentive and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very fresh, varied and attractively arranged. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would love to come back. The waitress "Schwarzwaldmarie" puts a smile on everyone's face.

Very clean hotel and room. Friendly staff. A slight noise from VMC or another machine in the night bothered us. Breakfast is really expensive for what it is, compared to other hotels in the area.

Visit in the first calendar week of 2023 The food we ordered - venison goulash etc. - was just warmed up in every part and far too expensive for the price (just under 35€). The service was very nice, though. The restaurant was almost empty.

Quiet hotel for hikes right on the doorstep and excursions into the region. Good quality food. Very good breakfast. Very good coffee from Dallmayr, not the cheap broth that you can get elsewhere for cheap breakfast. You can drink as much quality coffee, tea or hot chocolate as you like at breakfast. Very nice, friendly hosts and so were the staff. Our three quiet dogs were very welcome. Our room with terrace was large and very comfortable. Simply furnished, clean and generously equipped. The beds were comfortable. For meals in the restaurant, you are asked to reserve in advance. In the morning we didn't know whether we would be eating in the hotel in the evening, so we were able to simply reserve electronically via Open Table around midday. This was always confirmed immediately. The hosts do everything they can to ensure that we as guests continue to feel comfortable with them in good quality and can simply enjoy it. They have succeeded very well in this time of Corona, energy crisis, etc. If you are aware of this as a guest, you will find top quality at fair prices. Our expectations were exceeded and we will be back.

We received a very warm welcome, even though we arrived very late in the evening. We slept very well, finally a hotel without those uncomfortable cheap pillows.👍 We had a small coffee capsule machine in the room and the coffee crema was a poem! Thanks again for the warm welcome! We can highly recommend this charming hotel!

The room was very spacious, very clean! 2 beds ok but our kids had to sleep on a sofa bed which was very hard so they didn't sleep well. Don't think you can charge that much money for that. Price/quality is therefore inadequate.
