Exceeded expectations. I booked a hotel temporarily and needed self-check-in. The entrance is directly opposite the two stone lions. The hotel is located in the beautiful Swiss town of Munsingen, a short walk from the train station. The houses in the town are all traditional Swiss wooden houses. This hotel was also renovated from an old house. There are still some old wood in the house and the lighting is well designed. Very distinctive. The people in the town are very nice, warm and kind~

Very nice hotel with lots of character, comfy beds, great shower. Free parking directly outside or in a carpark at the rear. This hotel doesn't have a manned reception, it's all automated either my app or an iPad when you arrive. Down in the basement next to check in there is a cafe/seated area(self service) coffee & vending machines. Only negatives (not for me) are - lots of beams in some rooms & there is a church directly opposite (50 mtrs) the very loud bells chime every 15 mins and then every hour.

very strange check-in system no one was there to help and no one answered the phone the location is far away and the area is not facilitated. I had to cancel the reservation and reserve in somewhere els and i am glad that i did.

Renovated colonial hotel in small town of Munsingen. There is no reception but check-in is very easy to do using the tablet at the entrance. Spacious room. Good size bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Located on the way to Bern and next to the oldest restaurant in the canton. Parking included. Does not offer breakfast

Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es eine große Baustelle vor dem Hotel. Leider war dadurch auch die Zufahrt zum Parkaus gesperrt. Als wir am Abend gehen 21.30 ankamen, waren die Parkplätze vor dem Hotel alle besetzt. Von dem Parkhaus wussten wir zu der Zeit noch nichts. Da bei diesem Hotel auch keine Mitarbeiter anwesend sind, mussten wir die Hotline wählen. Nach einiger Zeit in der Warteschleife haben wir dann von der Existenz des Parkhauses erfahren. Leider konnte die Person am Telefon uns nur die Adresse des Parkhauses nennen aber nicht, wie wir die Baustelle umfahren können um dorthin zu kommen. Nicht einmal in der Information zur Baustelle stand etwas von dem Parkhaus. Nur, dass es vor dem Hotel eine Baustelle gibt. Aber das Hotel war trotz Baustelle leicht zu finden.
