I recently had the pleasure of staying at deshadan mountain resort and it exceeded all my expectations ! the rooms were very spacious and clean with balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly. The food was very good

We stayed in Room 202 from October 27 to 28, hoping for a pleasant experience given the hotel's views. Indeed, the room offered a stunning outlook, and it was clean, but that’s where the positives ended. The service was extremely disappointing. We faced multiple power and water outages, and contacting reception or housekeeping was impossible, as calls went unanswered. Each time we needed assistance, we had to go down to the reception and wait or look for someone to help. Breakfast was another letdown—limited choices, and everything served cold, from dosas and sambar to pooris. While a simple menu would be fine, the quality was poor in every way. When we ran out of drinking water, repeated requests went unaddressed. Altogether, this stay was frustrating and disappointing, despite the lovely views.

1. Location - 5, amazing views from room, cool weather even on may 1st week due to height of the location. Other places in munnar were hot but this resort location was cool. 2. Food - 4. 5, awesome taste, lunch&dinner - bit costly, complimentary breakfast 3. Room: cleanliness-5, door mat, wardrobe, furniture are old. 4. Hospitality - 5 5. Need an experienced driver to reach the resort as it is heavy slope road

The location is mesmerizing, the mountain view balcony. The property has a hill point view which is amazing. One drawback is during afternoon the sun hits straight inside the room and there is no ac in the rooms only pedestal dans which is a slight spoiler. Otherwise it's a good place to be the food was also good

The resort was good. But the problem is the way to resort. We had come from kochi and the route map that took us was very off road and high range such that no normal four wheeler will be able to go. We got stuck in the middle of forest for a while in pitch dark. Luckily some locals helped us to drop in the resort. There is an alternate easier way which we could have taken. But the resort didnt inform us prior thereby costing us a huge money for repair. However, they were helpful in picking us up and even arranging a driver for taking us back. Only issue was the way to the resort. Anyone who wishes to stay in the resort dont follow google map.

The property was good, view was also good! but one think i never heard that that if bed-sheet get some food stain then the hotel will charges us for the entire bedsheet. This is terrible experience! that stain could have easily removed after wash but hotel wish us to charge for the entire bedsheet.
