Great location up in the hills.Staff are great as is the food and all the facilities. We were left down by having to sleep in a filthy bedroom and bathroom. Stained carpets, uncomfortable beds, dirty shower cubicle and filthy window blind. Light switches by bed filthy - yuk! Broken furniture and curtain rail. TV hanging off wall. Had to move carpets as filthy and couldn't go bare feet. Staff apologetic but that's all. Guess we just had a bad room, others seemed happy with theirs. Had a lovely wildlife tour with guide in the grounds. I would rate this hotel as 2-3 star and not luxury. Maintenance not good. See photos

The Tall Trees Resort, Woahhh its as amazing as it sounds, one thing for sure it will be our best experience so far, The place, ambience, climate, cozy rooms, food everything is as good as possible The staff were very warm and welcoming, Overall its a great choice to have a break from busy world.

Excellent experience! There are only minor flaws like the lock of our room, but it can be fixed. But other than that, there's nothing bad to say. Wonderful and heartful staffs. Everyone with a smile and good hospitality. For any assistance, the staffs are attentive.

Stayed for three nights, lovely two bed cottage in the trees. Slightly tired decor but very comfortable. Buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, though a bit more light in the evening would help. Candlelit is all very well, but it was dim. Lovely gardens and helpful, attentive staff. Enjoyed the morning and evening walks.

Nice ambiance, friendly staff and quality stay. Theres enough activities to enjoy for the day. The evening tea estate walks with mojo and ramesh and morning plantation trek with pradeep was refreshing. Buffet dinner and breakfast spread is good and reasonably priced. Check in was smooth and all the services were without any delay. The rooms are cozy with all necessary aminities. Nothing special in terms of view from room, but no worries as same was expected in a place full of tall trees. In a nut shell time well spend.

This is a great resort to stay in Munnar. It’s 30 mins drive away from the main city. It’s located in dense forest so it justifies the name Tall trees! Food is good, hospitality is good. They have many activities for kids and a heated pool. They also arrange morning tea plantation walks and treks free of cost! All in all, a good place to stay!

We had a memorable stay at Tall Trees, Munnar, one of the best ever. Every small need of the guests has been thoughtfully taken care of. From tastefully appointed rooms to scrumptious and authentic south Indian delicacies to excellent service to walks and tracking all round the day, everything was top-class. All the staff members are extremely helpful and courteous; smiling all the time. Excellent ambiance with absolute respect for the ecology and bio-diversity.
