Residence Inn Munich City East

Breakfast is included, and the breakfast is rich and good. There is a small cooking table on the side of the entrance. Although the sparrow is small and complete, it has pots, pans and dishwashers. The parking lot is the one with the big hertz written on it. The hotel sign is relatively small and I didn't see it. It was only found on the day of picking up the car. We parked by mistake and parked in the parking lot of the next motel 1, but when motel 1 paid the parking fee, the enthusiastic brother at the front desk said it was okay. He paid the parking fee and gave the ticket. The parking fee is much cheaper than the designated parking lot of the hotel. Piece
Residence Inn Munich Ostbahnhof

The hotel is situated near the Ostbahnhof. On street level, you can not enter the hotel really - the reception is on first floor, and the elevator has a button for 1st floor, but it only works when you already have checked in. So you need to walk up ca 2 dozen stairs. The receptionist was very friendly, and check in went smoothly. I had not signed up for a Marriott membership but it would be recommended because WiFi speed / internet bandwidth was rather limited, and you get a premium Wifi pass for free after you have signed up. But not right away.... I waited several hours but still did not get the better access. The apartment style rooms on 3rd floor are well designed, very clean, almost sterile, in a modern ambiente. Right across a fitness studio or so, there was party sound until late night so no way to fall asleep when the window was open... The air conditioning did not really cool down but just circulated air. Only one power socket next to the bed, so when you want to charge your laptop, your phone and the smartwatch over there, you better bring a multicharger... The breakfast buffet was ok, but a few essentials really missing, e.g. no egg holder, eggs only in one cooking (hard, no soft eggs), and which of the various bottles did hold milk, skimmed milk, vanilla milk or whatever was not visible, so you had to guess... Orange juice was coming from a tap-water style dispenser, a mix of concentrate and water, not really a quality what you'd expect when paying almost 200 Euro per night... In the evenings, the receptionist is no longer available, but you have to go to the next hotel nearby, the Moxy. All in all ok, but like I said you pay for the Marriott brand, not for the service delivery you'd expect on that price level.
Residence Inn Munich Central

The hotel is newly renovated, but the decoration smell is very strong. When I woke up in the morning, the formaldehyde smell made me uncomfortable. When staying in the hotel for more than three nights, the room will only be cleaned once, and only towels will be changed every day. The hotel service is unsatisfactory. They only smile and apologize to you without any real help. When I woke up, I had allergic rashes on my hands and back. I asked someone to change the quilt, but the front desk staff replied: ”Ah, it's really strange. This has never happened before.” I don't know what to say. . . For a newly opened hotel, it is not normal for this to happen, and no hotel dares to say that its beds can be made so that no guests have ever reported allergies. The hotel said it would cost an extra 50 euros to change the bed sheets and duvet covers. I said you should go and solve the problem. Finally, after thinking for a long time, the solution was to change the bed sheets for me😅😅😅😅If a customer has allergies in your hotel, just asking for a change of bed sheets is already basic. Even though I asked, I didn't ask for a room change or upgrade. That's it, I still made things difficult in every possible way. At 8:30 in the morning, frying bacon in the hotel kitchen activated the fire alarm. It was so cold that everyone stood outside the hotel and felt the cold wind for more than ten minutes without even having time to put on their clothes. During the whole process, no management staff came out to apologize or compensate. There was only one front desk staff standing there to apologize. . It's okay that I didn't encounter any problems when I stayed in this hotel. But when I did, it was really unpleasant and affected my travel mood. Please be cautious when checking in. I still read the recommendation from Xiaohongshu. Spend 1,000 a night and get an extra fire alarm training
