Old structure (a bit vintage inside) but clean and very central! We ended up there during the May Day long weekend, which is why, in my opinion, we paid a bit too much for the category and type of structure but that's fine... I would definitely go back at more reasonable prices (under 100 euros). Good breakfast and decent variety. The location is really very favorable and central!

This was the most affordable accommodation we could find in Munich during Oktoberfest. It’s a decent basic place. Close to Marienplatz which is good for the subway. Quite a long walk from Theresienweise Bedroom curtain was thin and didn’t block out any light at all. Walls also thin and we could hear noise/music from next door. No bedside lights or bedside tables. Bathroom very small. No lift, 4 flights of stairs to our room.

The Pension Seibel is a decent hotel in an old building. The front desk/reception area/ breakfast room is all sort of crammed together on the second floor (1st floor by European standards?). That space was hot, stuffy and crowded but we spent very little time there so it wasn’t a huge problem. The staff was helpful and friendly but the entire place needs some renovation. Everything was clean and the locks on all the doors are old mechanical devices but they all work properly. The room itself was a bit tired. The ceilings have clearly been added to reduce what was likely a lot of extra space to heat/cool. The room lacked both a fan and/or A/C. The large windows did fully open but overlooked an alley with trash cans, workers and lots of pigeons. The curtains were unacceptable and appeared to be completely missing at least one complete section. The bathroom was tiny and barely functional. The toilet worked, but just barely. The shower faucet was twitchy and if you bumped it even slightly you were rewarded with very cold or very hot water. The shower had an old plastic curtain that didn’t do much to contain the water in the shower. Overall, the bathroom was workable but less than ideal. The electrical outlets in the room were a bit suspect looking but they worked. The TV carried some local news but had a lot of nonfunctional channels. I don’t need a TV in room but it’s nice to get local weather without having to rely on your phone. On the positive side, the tram stop was close by. There were 2 excellent restaurants/beer gardens nearby. The room had a comfortable bed and everything was clean. Perhaps the price for this room should be a little lower considering the overall condition but it wasn’t bad. Had the room been priced about 25% lower I would have no complaints. It was a bit overpriced for what it was.

Great location, good breakfast buffet. However, this is overpriced for the basic level of the accommodations, even in the Octoberfest period. It's a bit shabby and run-down, but perhaps that's to be interpreted as "rustic." Maybe if it was located up in the Alps but not for a major metropolitan city.

The bites of these insects itch like crazy for several days. But the main problem is that these insects are very easy to bring into your own apartment and are extremely difficult to get rid of, actually only with the help of professional pest controllers who charge a lot. To decontaminate all the things that you have with you in such a pension means not to use them for a year!!!!! The consequences of staying in this guesthouse have been an absolute nightmare for several weeks.

La struttura è in pieno centro e comodissima. Sarebbe stata gradita una risposta alla mia richiesta di trasporto da e per l'aeroporto ma la ragazza alla reception alla fine è stata gentilissima e disponibile. La reception è in cucina però. La colazione buona e varia con prodotti freschi. Considerando che siamo andati via di notte non abbiamo usufruito dell'ultima colazione e speravo almeno in uno sconto. Il telecomando della TV era inesistente. Il phon ho dovuto richiederlo perché non era in camera. La pulizia può migliorare molto perché i capelli nella doccia e sulle lenzuola non si possono vedere. Il bagno dovrebbe essere sistemato perché la porta si apre a pochi millimetri dal wc e ci si incastra.
