This is a lovely warm hotel. We arrived late due to rail strikes, which made transport to the hotel a pain. However, once we were checked in, we were straight up the the room which was toasty (really toasty!). Breakfast was a continental buffet style with plenty of everything and some of the items changed on a daily basis. The hotel bar was open on Saturday and Sunday, where their barman, Boris was extremely friendly, warm, polite and helpful. He also takes a keen interest in football. I would also like to give Filip and his team at reception a shout out as they were extremely helpful. For those who read the reviews saying they could not speak either English or German, we found this to be simply not true. Their English was fluent as was their German. We had wanted to come back out to Munich specifically to stay here again this year but unfortunately that will now have to wait until next year. If you want the u-bahn, it is a 2 minute walk from the hotel reception (turn left from the door, left again, cross at the lights and you are there).

Great location after staying in the old town the day before. We wanted to walk to the Adele concert and not worry about getting back via public transport.

There were many communication problems between Ctrip and the hotel, and the hotel could not receive the payment paid by the customer. After the payment on the platform, the hotel repeatedly asked the customer for money, and the use of Ctrip’s interest-free payment resulted in more serious problems, because the hotel found that Ctrip used The credit card is not in the customer's name, so don't use Ctrip to pay interest-free, which adds a lot of trouble to yourself!

I have to say that this full 5 stars is for the Ctrip specialist. Our Chinese App is much better than the European one in terms of service, quality and convenience. The room is not big, the bathroom is especially small, and the service is so-so. It is 6 minutes away from the subway station. There is a McDonald's opposite. I ate there for a few days. It is 3 stops away from the Allianz Arena and about 10 stops away from Maria Square. It is quite convenient. There is bus No. 177 when going out. The front desk service is indifferent and is not very helpful to people who don't speak English.

Dont! it is not worth it . More than 600 euros a night for what? design in the lift?! First of all, i have requested a month ago to have a big bed as king or queen since i am traveling alone and for work, i got twin beds and no option on the same day of arrival. or other floor , smaller room the next day with no help to change the clothes etc...My profile is not an individual, just here for the WE to celebrate Oktoberfest but a 4 days working trip. 25h hotel is trying to appeal for the hipsters and younger crowd, charging a high price but forgetting the essentials: boiler, coffee machine (whatever it is), water being replaced, amenities like bathrobe and slippers without having to ask.. they give you a free minibar with some nuts, 1 water, 1 coke and 1 beer for the entire stay and acts like this is it ! rooms are VERY dark with yellow light. They justify a lack of cleaning and probably labor force under sustainability concerns, barely cleaning ur room. If u are taking this hotel for the fitness gym, dont. it is 2 machines in a tiny place . The only things i have seen working and appealing so far are their food and beverage places and the sauna.
The Westin Grand Munich

We booked an executive suite, which was a decent size. It was two interconnected rooms (with two bathrooms). We added a bed in the living room as requested, but we charged an extra bed fee. The room facilities were old, but the maintenance was OK. The air conditioner switch was a very old dial. Noise and bathroom drainage were no problem. Clean. There were quite a lot of breakfast items, and there were some automatic machines, such as automatic pancake making, jam squeezing and chocolate sauce making, which were quite fun. They also provided food from various countries, processco sparkling wine and other drinks. However, the bad thing was that the service was really not up to this standard. There was no luggage, and the attitude of the front desk was also average. The first time I made a key, I didn't get permission to go to the executive floor. The child had a birthday during the stay, but there was no expression. Don't expect too much. The meals on the executive floor were average, and the drinks were beer and a kind of German red and white wine. The swimming pool and gym were relatively small. As for the location, it is far from the city center, about 15 minutes by tram, which is quite convenient. You can play around if you buy a one-day ticket. There is a British park and a large forest next to it where you can take a stroll.
