Been staying at St Regis Mumbai every time we visit Mumbai for work. Location is incredible or in fact the best amongst all the hotels in Mumbai. Great service as usual. We used the business centre services as well as the coffee lounge for meetings… everything was smooth. However may I suggest to tone down the fragrance at the reception? It gets a bit too overbearing after a while :)

Opposite the General Police Station. For safety reasons, employees have to clean the floor sooner or later. They are hygienic, relatively clean, and the staff is kind. But the single room is separated by wooden boards, and the upper part is hollow. There is basically no sound insulation. I was in the Room Number 2909. The Workers all were very friendly, especially Vivek. He is such a cool guy and we talked a lot. But as I wrote, all workers were very friendly and courteous. The food always was very tasty, the rooms are very comfortable and you can sleep very well on the bed. The Hotel itself has a upscale facility and it was always very clean. We stayed for 13 days in a non-sea facing Executive Suite. The room is like a one bed room apartment. Very spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice sofa. It also contains two TVs, a nice desk and a very nice one-seater with an otto*** and a coffee table. Daily cleaning and service were excellent (complimentary pastries and chocolates every day). The hotel lobby and the Bay View restaurant are simply spectacular. The breakfast buffet was very good with wide choices of Indian and Continental dishes. The Geoffrey's Bar is great for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. The hotel staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The only slightly disappointing thing is the rooftop swimming pool area which seems to be designed for functions rather than for relaxation. Nevertheless, the pool itself was very clean. The hotel location is, of course, wonderful. Right on the famed Marine Drive. It's only a few minutes walk to Church Gate train station and there are bus stops right in front of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can strongly recommend this boutique hotel.

View got a cheap room and there is an apartment across the street. Breakfast is Chinese, local, Western, and desserts and fruits. The service to store luggage after check-out for sightseeing was good.
