Awesome place near Mumbai Suburbs..no need of travel out of Mumbai…best place near Axa beach. Huge pool. Problem of moisture in room if you open your balcony for long time.

We booked The Resort for pre tour five night R&R stay. Can’t fault the hotel other than being slightly tired and needing refurbishment. The sunset balcony room was perfect size with choice of two aspect balconies. Couldn’t fault the room and room cleaning service very good. Restaurant evening meal buffet very good with excellent daily variation. Breakfast fresh fruit selection great and egg station produced perfect sunny side eggs ***** with great dosa. Service was second to none when Bhawana on duty, her attention to duty is fantastic and she makes perfect coffees. I hope Bhawana wins employee of the month award.

Beautiful 5 day stay. Had very much fun, the food is delectable, staff friendly, amenities plenty and the new cute Animals we can play with are a lovely new experience.

I’ve always considered The Resort my go-to place for short breaks and peaceful getaways whenever I in my hometown Mumbai. This was my fourth visit, and I’ve consistently recommended it to friends and family in the past. The beach surroundings, the pool, and the overall ambiance have always made my stay feel refreshing and enjoyable. But unfortunately, this particular experience fell well below expectations — and left me quite disappointed. When I checked in, I was given a room with a connecting door to the adjacent room, which I wasn’t informed about beforehand. I didn’t think much of it at first, but as soon as we settled in, it became clear that the soundproofing was almost nonexistent. We could hear everything from the next room — conversations, TV, even someone yawning. It was incredibly uncomfortable and took away any sense of privacy. My partner and I had chosen this trip to spend some personal, quality time together, but we couldn’t even have a normal conversation without worrying that we might be overheard. It was frustrating, and honestly, quite awkward. I did bring this up with the front desk staff, hoping they would offer a solution or perhaps shift us to another room. But instead, I was kept on hold — and eventually, no action was taken. I felt unheard and let down. As a returning guest, I expected more understanding and basic courtesy in addressing my concern. To make matters worse, the morning buffet experience also left a bad impression. The water glasses on our table had black particles floating in them, which was not only unappetizing but raised serious concerns about hygiene. Cleanliness, especially in food and beverage service, is something I think every guest takes seriously — and this shouldn’t have been overlooked, but okay that was settled in then and there I had a cup of tea on go. There was also a disappointing moment with In-Room Dining. I had ordered French fries with cheese sauce — a simple comfort food — but the cheese sauce tasted more like curd. It was sour, off-putting, and clearly not what it was supposed to be. For a property of this standard, this level of inconsistency in food quality was unexpected and disheartening. Usually I devour the IRD food here. P.S. dinner was indeed amazing. Thank-you for that. Despite all of this, I want to be fair. I have genuinely enjoyed my previous stays at The Resort. The pool area is still lovely, and the overall environment has always felt relaxing and well-maintained. But this time, something was missing — in terms of service, attention to detail, and guest care. It didn’t feel like the warm, welcoming place I used to look forward to. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback constructively. Loyal guests return because of consistency, trust, and how they’re treated when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel valued this time — and that’s what hurts the most.
