The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Road station. The GRE Khushi, is one of, if not the nicest person we met in India. He let us check in early into one of the rooms we booked, helped us with direction and anything we needed. 2 of our rooms were very spacious, facing the main road. The third room was at the back, a bit smaller but that room was far from the street noise, so it was very quiet. All the rooms were clean, and had enough space for our belongings. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were very good, the soap that was provided had a nice scent. The lobby and staircase looked newly renovated, very clean and bright. The complimentary breakfast was simple but great, a good start of our day. I also need to mention that the staff in the hotel was very helpful, friendly, and we were well looked after. If I find myself in Mumbai again, I would definitely stay at Hotel Heritage.......

Beautiful historic hotel which is iconic in South Mumbai opposite the Gateway of India. The club room was beautiful and well appointed. Service was polite but requests from the room were a little slow to be responded to and we didn’t meet the ‘butler’ that was supposed to be available to us throughout our stay. There was some construction work happening on the roof directly above our room during our stay which was deafeningly loud, it took 3 calls to the front desk to get a resolution which was disappointing. At this level of hotel I would have expected at least a warning before the work started and a plan on how to mitigate its effects on us without us having to complain. Having a toddler needing an afternoon nap whilst jackhammers were pounding the ceiling was not an experience we enjoyed. To their credit they did stop the work for 2 hours to let our child nap, but the experience lessened appreciation of the Taj stay.

This charming hotel is located very close to the airport. The staff is very warm and friendly and takes good care of their guest. The rooms are clean and spacious and reminded me of 5 star properties from back in the 90’s. A good place to host weddings as they have ample of space to organise all the various functions etc. Only and biggest drawback is the layout of the hotel. I really really recommend the owners/***agement accommodate another lift and staircase lobby as the hotel design is such that the rooms are quite far away from the main lift lobby and becomes a hassle to travel from one end to another

Ambience was just equivalent to The Taj Hotel. The front office staff were very friendly & conducted an express check-in. The housekeeping staff ensured that the rooms were clean and tidy and did replenished the consumables. The waiters and chefs greeted every guest with a broad smile & attended every request of the guests. Specially Mr. Akram did a splendid job in attending to the physically challenged guests. Overall a wonderful experience.

Most friendliest staff. I went with my toddler and the staff(Rupali and Papin) at the play area were so good with my son, he enjoyed playing with them a lot. I wish the play area was indoors as it gets too hot in the day for the kids to play in the heat. Mr. Roopesh More from the vista restaurant was so sweet to get the kids food customised for our needs every day. It made our stay very pleasant and memorable.

Super fantastic 5 star hotel right next to the gateway of India. The service is impeccable and the staff are very attentive and helpful. We booked a half board room which meant we got breakfast and dinner and complimentary drinks in the bar for 90 minutes. Considering the prices of a dish/beverage going half board was definitely a better option. Great clean poolside with clean beds. All the staff are incredible, always checking on you making sure your stay is perfect. They have shops and everything you need all within the hotel. As soon as you arrive you are greeted with a traditional Indian welcoming and everywhere in the hotel smells amazing. We were so happy that we extended our stay another night and they let us keep the same room. 100% will be returning.

We were there for a birthday buffet brunch at the Seven Kitchens. The staff was amazing and very customer oriented. We had a complaint about some food items, the chef came immediately to check and removed the dishes totally from the buffet. Our complaint was appreciated.
