Suitcases have to be dragged from the car over gravel, then up a few steps to reception. We had two rooms on the first floor and we had to carry our suitcases up there too. There is an elevator at the end of the corridor, but it definitely gets the label of being old-fashioned. The rooms had windows and balcony doors that could be opened, which was necessary because it smelled slightly musty. Otherwise, the rooms including the bathroom were in good condition. The rooms are noisy. Noisy, jumping children in the hallway can be clearly heard. We couldn't get a proper impression of the swimming pool. It is only about 8 meters tall and had many families with children in it. We decided not to visit. There is also something similar to a gym, but it is minimally equipped. There is a table tennis table inside, but the balls are missing. To get to this place you have to use the rattle elevator. The surroundings are definitely beautiful. On the one hand, the large meadow directly in front of the hotel with tables and benches to relax in and then the lake. We had dinner outside, a small summer menu that was delicious. Since there was also a classic car meeting that evening, there was a lot of activity outside, but no problem. During our evening walk in the surrounding area we also saw deer and rabbits. The breakfast buffet is okay but nothing special, we have definitely experienced better. The orange juice was slightly sour, the black coffee was not drinkable.
