After a second stay in the Hotel which was gifted to us because we complained about the dirt off the spa changing facilities and room we are disappointed again. Had high expectations after being told it had been given a deep clean but on the Friday around 5 pm most of the dirt in showers was still remaining and I hadn’t use the toilet on my previous visit but this time I couldn’t believe the dirt also. There was toilet paper stuck around the toilet brush, urine stains that definitely seemed like they were there for awhile. On the Saturday morning we came down for a swim again and absolutely nothing had changed from the previous day. I had previously been told that these facilities were being updated soon but that is no excuse why they are not cleaned on a daily basis also in the bar we did have lovely food but they only sell rosé wine by the full bottle one being €30+ and the other being €50+. They don’t serve it by the glass or small bottle as I only normally have one or two glasses. I wasn’t going to pay for a full bottle. Staff were all very friendly the breakfast is beautiful. Our room was nice and it was clean this time, but there was what sounded like a boiler continuously going through our stay which was very annoying, luckily I had brought earplugs but my husband hadn’t. Not the cheapest hotel to stay and I travelled 90 minutes to get there only to be disappointed again !!!!

A lovely stay here for around a week with a bunch of work colleagues. We all enjoyed it, I didn't use the Spa, but my colleagues loved it. The rooms were great and comfortable, parking was safe and secure. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice, I loved the Sea bass and citrus butter. All other options were available. The staff were great, shout out to Lee on reception, who was very helpful.

Very nice and well run hotel, the room was a bit dated with limited sockets and no USB options to charge phones. Went on a family break, pool was very nice . Bar food was excellent. Booked the room for €259 a night added two kids and the total came to €279, happy with that deal. Would stay again in this hotel.

I stayed in room 202 which was perfect. Checking in was a breeze. The reception was very elaborate with an amazing fliral centre piece and lots of seating areas. Room 202 had lots of light from the two big windows. A desk is provided for work. The room is large as is the bathroom. The bed is super king with crisp sheets. I do think the mattress needs changing. Its ok but probably has had better days. Shower was hot and plenty of power behind it. I could hear the traffic but not enough to bother me. I was very happy with the room. Breakfast was very good. Lots of fruit, cereal, and a buffet. The staff were excellent. I also had the carvery lunch which was superb and again the gentlemen attending the tables and clearing were also superb. We'll done all. I paid €129 A corporate rate was not available.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad main course. Unfortunately when it arrived it was completely pink and undercooked. I then called the waitress Danielle that gave me my food. She explained to me that everyone thinks that it’s undercooked because it’s smoked chicken. I said it should say that in the menu then. To which she said it did when but when we got the manu I explained it actually didn’t. After I explained this she became very rude and began to argue that it doesn’t say plain chicken either and that I shouldn’t assume it’s plain and that it said it on a different page. The manager Aidan came over to rectify the situation afterwards. Which was pretty much futile. He offered me food unfortunately I had lost my appetite, he asked me what I would like I said an apology from the waitress that was so rude. Unfortunately this never happened, he said (sorry but I don’t know what happened between you!!!). I decided not stay there that night. Terrible experience. Avoid!!!

We had a fantastic stay in the Mullingar Park Hotel last weekend. We booked direct on their Website & got a great rate. We arrived early to make the most of our stay and enjoyed a wonderful visit to their Leisure Club where we enjoyed a swim in the pool and we relaxed in the sauna & the amazing jacuzzi - We have never seen one so big, you could easily fit 10 people in it comfortably! We could ly--down, sit & stand in it while the bubbles eased away our aches & pains, we honestly didn't want to leave. We made sure to visit it again the next day. We didnt use the gym, but looked in at & the machines looked really good. We stayed in a lovely room that had a double & single bed in it. It was spacious, well laid out & had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy too! We enjoyed a fantastic dinner in the Restaurant. There were great choices on the menu (even for a fussy eater)! And there was a really good wine list to choose from. We enjoyed a night-cap in the bar afterwards which was warm & inviting. The buffet breakfast the next morning was amazing, I have never seen such a selection of fruits & food to choose from & we've travelled around a lot! The hotel lobby itself is a fantastic place to relax & people watch and the Christmas decorations on display were amazing. A final word has to go to the wonderful staff, we were greeted with a smile & treated so well wherever we went in the Hotel. If you're looking for a great place to stay at a price that won't break the bank, then look no further. We can't wait to return!

Attended an event in the hotel and stayed overnight. The food at the dinner event was exceptional, as was the service. I had the Halibut for the main course, very generous portion and it was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious. Not easy to provide that level of excellence for a large group. I was contrasting it with the lunch at an event I'd attended the previous week at the five star Inter Continental in Dublin. There was no comparison in terms of the quality of the ingredients, preparation and overall taste, or the service. Likewise breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, delicious omelettes made to order and very helpful and friendly staff. The room was a generous size, with a very comfortable bed. My only negative comment was the traffic noise if you're at the front of the hotel. The staff are all very warm and friendly, from when you arrive at reception to check in and throughout the hotel. Overall, it was a very enjoyable, albeit short, stay and I would highly recommend.

Terrible security. My van got broken into (window smashed). I was parked directly in front of the main entrance and laptop was stolen. Luckily I had taken my tools out beforehand. Van was in a blind spot which is surprising because it is directly in front of the main lobby. There was nothing the hotel could do for me. I wouldn’t leave a carton of eggs out in the car park of this hotel.

I stayed at The Mullingar Park Hotel with family last weekend. We had a wonderful stay the staff were all amazed my and went above and beyond to assist where needed. Our bedroom was very comfortable and had all the necessities required to make our stay relaxing. We also used the Leisure centre during our stay and it is a fantastic facility with state of the art gym equipment and a lovely pool area.
