Great place to stop between south west France and Calais. We left Bergerac area at 7am and went direct to Chambord. Spectacular chateau plus lunch options are great. Then to this small modern hotel 10 minutes away and near the river. Modern well appointed standard room. Reception staff super helpful. Even escorting us to the room and showing us around. Not that it’s different to any other hotel or needs explaining, but the happy helpful welcome was great. Eat at a recommended eatery that looks like a food wagon in the pictures, but very friendly owners and lovely bar b que food. (Snack Chez Josephine)

Very nice, new and cozy place, close to the Château de Chambord. Even if the rooms are a bit small, they are quite comfortable. The place is apparently managed by a very sympathetic family, who strives to offer the visitor a nice sample of local products for breakfast. There is, however, no restaurant for dinner... but plenty of good ones close by!

This is a really great location to visit Chateaus: Chambord, Royale de Bloise and Amboise The rooms are good size and very clean. There is an onsite pool and many amenities particularly for bicyclists. However, the best part of the Brame is the staff. The owner, Charlie is incredibly helpful and friendly; an attitude that has rubbed off on all the staff.

A pleasant modern hotel located on the outskirts of a far-flung village and marketed towards a sporting customer base. Clean, tidy, neutral decor. Personable staff. Ample parking behind gates secured at night.

We had the pleasure of two, single night stays here as a part of a tour of Western France, one week apart. This was the cheapest, but one of the comfiest hotels we stayed in. Small, but new. Easy onside parking for free with the grounds of Chateau Chambord just 5 mins drive away. The breakfast here was the best. Delicious pastries and fresh coffee and orange juice. The service was great and we would most definitely stay here again. The photos do not do it justice. The rooms are of 4* quality. Great stays.
