Snow Mushroom Hotel

China's Snow Town
Before coming here, I read a lot of reviews about Xuexiang online, especially the controversial accommodation, but I think staying at Xue Mushroom in Xuexiang this time is the right decision. The warm, enthusiastic and sincere boss lady and service guy make me feel at home. The hotel is in a good location, and there is a disco square outside. The room is neither big nor small. We booked a double experience room with a kang and a bed, which is very suitable for sleeping with babies. I especially recommend the hotel restaurant, which is particularly authentic Northeastern cuisine, with sufficient portions, fresh ingredients and moderate prices. Compared with other places outside that are easy to step on, we chose to solve both meals in the hotel restaurant, and every dish is delicious! There is also the scenery of Xuexiang, whether it is day or night, it is really as beautiful and healing as a fairy tale world. The only thing is that there are too many people in Xuexiang at night and it is too commercial. During the day, especially in the morning, Xuexiang Street is more suitable for strolling.

The hotel has thoughtful service, the front desk is enthusiastic and efficient, and the room service responds quickly; the hygiene is very good, the room is tidy and clean, the bedding and bathroom are strictly disinfected, and the public areas are also kept very clean. The overall experience is comfortable and safe, worth recommending!
Suifenhe Jixing Hotel

The hotel is quite satisfactory, clean and tidy, with indoor parking spaces, free. The location is very good, the back is Longxugou Pedestrian Street, the surrounding food is also convenient, the night is very lively, grounded. Walk to the old building complex and the museum is not far, 15 minutes, you can browse the city along the road, take a taxi is 7 yuan starting price, go to the country door without playing a watch, a price of 20 yuan. Overall good value for money.

The room is not bad. Suifenhe is located in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province. When you arrive in Suifenhe, the National Gate is a must-see. The only place where you can see the Third Generation National Gate and take a family photo of the National Gate is also the No. 357 boundary monument. The Third Generation National Gate has witnessed the turbulent years.

China's Snow Town
We chose to stay at this hotel due to its proximity to the snow village. It is a very outdated and overpriced hotel. For the premium $400+ I spet I didn't feel it was value for money. It seems the owners do not put their money back into the hotel. The carpet was disgusting, the window sill did not look like it had been cleaned in a long time. The sheets had holes. There was a tissue stuck in the wall. It has aingerjng smoke smell. Some fresh paint and a wipe over would do a lot. We made do because we were really there to see the Snow Village and I am glad we needn't spend much time in the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful to my family and I as we do not speak the language. They were able to help us book a return transfer and also an outing for the day. The breakfast was traditional Chinese and the people around us seemed to be enjoying it. The big letdown was the room, it did seem like no money has been put back into the hotel. It could be a very nice place. For the premium price you would think the hotel would have a free luggage service available.

Location was great. Right opposite the train station. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The first room I was given had a really strong smoking smell, so they gave me another room right away. The view of the city from high floor was great! Could see the whole city and the mountains surrounding the city. Every morning my room could see the sun rise and get some indoor sun bathing in the winter. The breakfast had a healthy Chinese variety. Some western bread and muffins were offered as well. The only weird part for me was the fruits - the breakfast buffet had bananas and oranges cut into halves which I saw nobody taking. Overall, the stay was totally worth it.
