Location was great. Right opposite the train station.
The front desk was friendly and helpful.
Room was clean. The first room I was given had a really strong smoking smell, so they gave me another room right away.
The view of the city from high floor was great! Could see the whole city and the mountains surrounding the city. Every morning my room could see the sun rise and get some indoor sun bathing in the winter.
The breakfast had a healthy Chinese variety. Some western bread and muffins were offered as well. The only weird part for me was the fruits - the breakfast buffet had bananas and oranges cut into halves which I saw nobody taking.
Overall, the stay was totally worth it.

I always stay at this hotel every time I come to Mudanjiang. Although it is a little old, it is very cost-effective and is right opposite the train station. The hotel called me early in the morning on the day of departure to ask about the room requirements, and then directly upgraded the room for free and arranged a non-smoking floor. The room was arranged on a high floor with a great view as expected. I really like its breakfast, and there are exquisite small gifts before leaving👍
