Ning Ning Guesthouse

The location of this guest house could not have been better. Sitting on a balcony overlooking the river and the activity at the jetty below was a delight. The room was comfortable and the breakfast - ordered from a menu rather than taken from the buffet - was very good. Very happy to recommend this to others.

The owners were friendly and the view from our room and balcony was fabulous! Above average room quality and was comfortable/clean but in need of some repair for the price...I imagine most places will need to recover from covid tourism losses before they are reinvesting. (ie. bathroom door didn't latch, a crack in the entrance door was covered with a table runner, bed seemed a bit broken per noise but was still solid and comfortable). Breakfast was simple but tasty toasted baguette with butter, jam, fruit and an egg. the crepe/ pancake option was also yummy but perhaps less filling, and you get a side plate of fruit in any case. The huge windows means the sun heats up the room and there is no A/C but with lower evening tenps or cold down quickly.... so enjoy the view! Access is a small laneway through another restaurant facility just off the main boat pier steps.
