Mt Air Motel

The best stay I ever had in my life All of the experience was great from views and options of different things to see and food around town was great and the swimming lakes are so very beautiful

Do yourself a favor and rent one of the larger rooms with a full shower unless you are a smaller person. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms and the corner shower was a nightmare. It was so small we had a hard time raising our arms to wash our hair (we are 5'11" and 6'2") and the side shelfs dug into you when you tried to move. I dropped my shampoo and the shower wasn't wide enough to bend over and pick it up. The floor was extremely slippery and I would have busted my butt if it wasn't for the fact that it was so narrow you didn't have room to fall over. The shower head was also weirdly high and only hit the shower door, so you had to use it as a removable shower head handle, which was hard with how narrow the shower was. We also underestimated the noise with how close we were to the road. They do provide a noise machine and ear plus which we utilized. Thankfully we were so tired from our day activities that we still slept fine, but it was fairly loud before falling asleep - I would not recommend if you are a light sleeper. We were given the wrong code to our door, and I was worried since there was not staff on site that we would be out of luck. We called the number on their website and emailed, and they responded right away and provided the correct code. It was a cute little motel - with a bigger room you might have a better experience.

A great set up for an extended stay, with a kitchenette and "living area" separate from the bedroom. Spotless and quiet. The location offers easy access to outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, as well as to off-site dining options. Overall, I would happily stay at the Mountain Air Motel again!

Everything was great about this place except the bed, which is a queen bed with a soft mattress that needs upgrading. Otherwise, spacious, updated, clean, kitchen amenities TV etc all awesome. Would return if the beds got upgraded!

Don’t let the exterior of this motel deceive you…inside you’ll find a completely renovated and thoughtfully supplied full apartment with everything you need for a pleasant stay, with extra touches to make you feel cared for! The only drawback is the proximity to the road and noise from passing traffic.

I can’t say enough good things about the Mt. Air Motel after spending the last month in the area. We were filming in the area and a couple members of our team stayed in the units for over a month and had lots of space and full kitchens to cook with. Locals in the area were skeptical when I said we were staying there, but the place has been remodeled and is really cute and comfortable and budget friendly. It’s a little loud off the highway, but in walking distance of Wildwood Day Use which we loved. The best thing about the motel was that Stephanie, the property manager. She was so so helpful and responsive to any issues we had (and we were not easy guests). She really understands the importance of customer service and I really hope the place does well under her leadership! Great place to stay especially if you like to be able to cook on your own when traveling! A lot of the rooms have a separate living / kitchen space and then a bedroom which is really nice.
