I have just returned from a holiday in Tunisia... I stayed at Omar Khayam Resort & Aqua Park... our trip with three children was quite tiring because we had a transfer in Paris, but AirFrance was very professional and friendly, so we weren't discouraged... after landing in Tunis, we waited for the transfer to the hotel for almost 2 hours, but it wasn't the worst, as we found out later. ....we were placed on a bus which I had the impression would fall apart on the way, and it took 3.5 hours to reach the hotel ...it was hot and the children were tired and hungry....when we reached the hotel, more unpleasant attractions were waiting for us. .everyone looked at us as if we were intruders but we didn't suspect it was hostile, we were just new so others were curious about us, we thought, unfortunately later it turned out how wrong we were... we were taken to a room and then another collision... peace it was dirty, the mirrors were dirty, smeared, there was dust in the closet which I had to clean up myself so as not to get my things dirty, there was dust hanging from the lamps and the balcony was dirty and there was garbage... we went to the swimming pool, the children couldn't wait for the slide, we were excited to explore the area , overall, a beautiful place, beautiful beach and views... we reached the slide... everyone was watching us with undisguised hostility... Tunisian children were pushing our children out of the queue for the slide, comments were often made in their language and we felt that they were not nice ...then one of our children started drowning and there was no lifeguard nearby, at dinner in the canteen we literally had to fight for the food, which wasn't the best anyway, so we often had to go outside to the restaurant so that the children wouldn't be hungry, you had to pay for all drinks, and the beach bar was also paid, there was an all-inclusive bar at the reception, but they were some of the worst quality drinks diluted with syrup, also from the cheapest brands, and the distance from the beach was quite long... boys were forbidden to play football On the beach, I was told to turn off the music that only I could really hear, it certainly wasn't too loud because I didn't want to disturb anyone... at the pool, our every move was watched and when we were having fun, we were often given various situations to make it clear that we weren't there. welcome there... the stay there was already a torment for us after two days... two days before the end, they didn't even change the sheets or towels, they didn't even provide toilet paper... disappointed, we longed to come back... the children waited all day a year for this holiday and it was sad to see how this joy was taken away from them ... and I ask what did I pay all inclusive for?? too dirty and smelly room?? for the fact that every time we left the room it was stressful? because we never knew what else would happen to us from these people, apart from contemptuous looks... for the fact t
