My first time in the country so didn't know what to expect. Hotel is ok, staff ok food needs to be covered to stop flies on them. Also no space at dinner time in restaurant and staff not interested. But on plus side great location on the beach and great view.

Hotel, country and people - Amazing After booking this holiday for myself (21F) and my mum (52F) we realised there seemed to be a lot of bad media for Tunisia in regards to female travellers so came feeling slightly nervous. During our time there we realised that non of this was true. The people are lovely there and really like the tourists. The hotel was amazing, really clean, well maintained and lovely workers. The restaurant was really good for an all inclusive, very good variety of all types of food including a Tunisian station where they do the traditional foods. Pools were very well maintained and cleaned every day as well as the beach with really lovely security early in the morning to show you to a bed and set it up for you. The hotel entertainment was amazing, I have never been to a hotel that puts in as much effort from fire shows, beach parties and Tunisian shows which were all very well put together. The entertainment team were so lovely and there were always activities like darts and volleyball, aqua aerobics in the sea and much more. A shoutout to Amin who helped us with where to go on days out and always had a chat with us. Overall the hotel was amazing and we are looking to book again for next year. We went out of the hotel twice to the markets, the first was in Hammamet in the old town. This was good but as two females they did touch you and try to get you into the shop however, I did NOT feel unsafe once whist we were there. If you say no and walk on they will not bother you. The best market to go to is the Bazaar Market in Yasmin Hammamet. They are not pushy and it’s a beautiful area. Again I didn’t feel unsafe once whilst in Tunisia. Things to note are there is a £7 tax each in the hotel when you first arrive. And that you can will not get service anywhere and need to buy a SIM card at the airport. There is good wifi in the hotel though. Overall an amazing holiday for an amazing price and we would 100% go back.

A rising star in the Hammamet hotels scene for sure. I came back with a couple friends early summer and we were not disappointed. Pros: The rooms are finally renovated, the beach is wide, clean and the water is amazing, the adult pool is a highlight, friendly bartenders and receptionists, especially the inside bar, some bartenders are not very enthusiastic about their job but that's to be expected in Tunisia, it's a tough not high-earning job, but it makes my heart smile to see some truly enjoy what they do. Big shout out to Steave for bearing with my horrible Archery skills. I forgot the name of the Tennis coach, but you are a wonderful man who deserved every dinar of our tip. Cons: Taking responsibility for mistakes. We are all humans, we make mistakes, but we should atleast take responsibility when we make one. The hotel lacks first aid kits and no one of the available staff knew what to do in case of an injury. My buddy had injured a finger while playing volleyball. He ended up being fine but imagine another scenario with older people, no one should wait for a doctor.. this is serious stuff that shouldn't be disregarded and i would expect to see an aid kit/defibrillator available on view in front of the reception where someone is 24/7 available and trained to help. A much smaller con is the Italian entertainment team which gives 0 attention to anyone who isn't Italian. We were able to interact with Italian tourists more than we did with them. Maybe a non Italian Team (sorry) could be more inclusive.

Just back from a week away at El Defino. What a great time my partner and I had. Great atmosphere throughout the week. Each morning there is plenty of sun loungers to choose from. Lots of activities throughout the day. Plenty of food to chose from and always fresh. The restaurant staff were always there to help and genuinely nice. The entertainment might not be everybody's choice but nobody can fault the effort the staff put in. Be aware the mini market they set up on Wednesday. It looks good but the sellers will rip you off given half a chance. Do not trust them! A special mention has to go out to Tomas one of the entertainers. For a young 18 year old he was just great. Very well mannered and always had a smile for everyone. Tomas I wish you well in your future. Overall I would definitely come back here again next year and so would my partner.

I went for a 11 night stay at Calimera Delfino Beach at the end of June & was a bit worried about going due to negative reviews I had read online; but I must say it is one of the BEST hotels I have stayed at when I have been abroad! Only negative I can say is the transfer takes around 2 hours by the time you stop off at other hotels! Animation team was amazing! They literally made the holiday 10x better! I can’t thank the DJ Aladdin enough for his friendly, kind and generous personality ; Aladdin made me feel very welcome throughout my time here and would definitely come back just due to the staff at this hotel! Also very big thank you to Steave, Anime, Yousef and Billy (the animation Team)! Never failed to entertain throughout the day & night as well as making you feel very included and like a part of the family! Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Dont believe the transfer time - it is about 2hrs due to being the last drop. We was early to arrive so our room wasnt ready but we was given our wrist bands so we could enjoy a drink. Staff are truly lovely; can't do enough to help you, courteous, polite & always smiling. Bungalow room was cleaned daily with fresh bedding & towels, beds were reasonable, pillows awful! Two english film channels (27 & 28), kettle & fridge was v helpful! Bottled water available at every bar. Soft drinks were branded, local spirits but the drinks were made with far too much of it so not overly enjoyable, cocktails v sweet and the wine is terrible. Food is v samey and you notice everything is recycled.. gave up eating in the restaurant at lunchtimes as the food is the same in the evening, the beach bbq is good, although, again v samey. Lots of cross contamination as meats & salad dishes are together - subsequently leading to many upset tummies, inc ours! Another concern shared by many was the weekly Gala night where all the seafood is outside, in the heat for hours, flies happily tucking in and not a cube of ice or chilled area in sight - dangerous surely? There are no restaurants in walking distance or shops. This is definitely a family hotel with loud music in the evenings u till v late. There is an Italian team called Bravo who are a complete menace on the beach, if you want to relax with them around - forget it! If it wasn't for the poor food & terribly loud evenings we would return but this is definitely not the quiet relaxing holiday we was hoping to have.

Amazing amazing amazing. Stunning country, beautiful friendly people. A smile and a couple of Tunisian words goes a long way , reception staff professional friendly and helpful, excellent food , had great conversation with chefs about dishes they serve and they are always quick to recommend things you wouldn't normally try but all are delicious. Beaches beautiful, lots of things to do if you want to be busy.

The Delfino Beach Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. We booked a package holiday through TUI, with flights via easyJet, and experienced no issues. Our stay lasted a total of 9 nights and 8 days. Room: The room was lovely, featuring new and comfortable furniture and a large balcony overlooking the gardens. However, the lack of air conditioning for the first four nights made the room unbearably hot. We had to sleep with the balcony door open, resulting in numerous mosquito bites. Despite complaining twice, we were informed that the AC would only be turned on later in June. Staff: The service was impeccable, with warm greetings from everyone, from the cleaners to the managers. They were all attentive, respectful, and cheerful. Special thanks to dining staff Amir and archery staff Monty for their exceptional service. Food: The food was of high quality, catering to all tastes with a wide variety of options. Several live cooking stations offered pasta, grills, pizza, roast, and meats. There was ample seating both inside and outside, and the dining staff provided excellent service. Drinks: The all-inclusive drinks, including mojitos, cocktails, soft drinks, cappuccinos, and juices, were of excellent quality. Cleaning: Daily room cleaning and towel changing were efficiently handled by friendly cleaners. Gym and Spa: The gym was well-equipped with machines, free weights, cardio equipment, and a separate exercise studio open from 08:30 to 19:00. Earlier opening hours would be appreciated. The sauna was excellent but had limited operating hours (15:00 to 17:00). The indoor pool was great, and we enjoyed a thorough and relaxing 50-minute massage for 120 dinars. Beach: The beautiful private beach had plenty of loungers and shades, eliminating the need to reserve spots early. The clean golden sand and mostly clear water, aside from occasional seaweed, made for a pleasant experience. Activities: Tennis was fantastic, with eight courts available at no additional cost. Archery was also great fun, with Monty guiding us at no extra charge. Excursions: We booked two excursions with Imed, who can be found in the lounge wearing a red polo shirt. Although he will initially state his prices are fixed, they are always negotiable. Each trip below was quoted at £45 per person but managed to reduce these to £35 each. The Catamaran half-day boat trip was decent but could be boring due to long periods of just sailing with only one stop for swimming. Motion sickness sufferers should be cautious due to the boat’s constant movement. Our second trip was camel and horse riding, where we were fortunate to be the only participants. This allowed for personal attention from the guide, and I was able to gallop with the horse. However, the location was less than ideal, with rough neighborhoods and construction sites. In the flat plains, we took great photos but beware of the photographer who will try to sell you numerous printed photos at high prices. We negotia

Great hotel, locationally really strong as close too Hammamet Medina and Nabuel. Food was good with wide variety and really tasty, many things are cooked to order such as eggs in the morning, and pizza is made right in front of you. The pool and beach are spotless and short walks away from the great rooms on offer. The bungalow we had was in the centre of everything and a good size with a balcony. Finally the staff were amazing with everyone being friendly from housekeepers to gardeners. The animation team were especially good and they clearly loved their jobs with a wide range of events and quality evening entertainment put on. A special mention to Simou who made our stay special and went out of his way to say hello and chat everyday
