I booked this with TUI and I paid £585 per person including flights from Glasgow. Amazing low price & excellent value for money. The hotel is small & traditional, no mod cons but it’s charming. Air con is extra and tbh it was so weak it didn’t make any difference so I wouldn’t bother. Keeping the curtains shut through the day kept the room cool enough. Rooms are small & really dated decor, but spotlessly clean, have a mini fridge & the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The pool area is beautiful & very quiet. Never any trouble getting a lounger. Pool clean and bug free. Breakfast was great, plenty choice. Evening meal basic but tasty, salad bar and a meat/fish dish every night. You could struggle if you are veggie. I thought the bar was pretty expensive, 4 euro for a can of coke but that seems the norm in the corfu. One afternoon I fancied a cocktail and ordered a margarita, the lady behind the bar didn’t have a clue how to make one and gave me a half pint of tequila with a slice of lime. It was 9 euros so I drank it and slept on a lounger for the rest of day. Stuck to soft drinks after that. The hotel is in a very remote area. You can’t walk to any bars or restaurants cos the road has no pavement and everyone seems to drive 100mph. We used the complimentary mini bus to Barbati beach most days. Nice stone beach, free loungers and the restaurant down there had a great menu. I recommend going. On the way back the driver would stop at the supermarket for us & I would get some waters etc for the mini fridge in the room. Got the bus to corfu one day, bit wild having to stand on the main road for it but we survived and enjoyed a look round corfu old town. I would stay here again if I travelled alone and just wanted a quiet week round the pool with a book but I wouldn’t go with family cos the teenagers were bored & you couldn’t go for a walk anywhere close by.

Stayed in the hotel in August. Was worried it would be very busy however it was pleasant, not tonnes of people milling round fighting for sun beds. We arrived in the middle of the night and the night receptionist checked us in and helped us with our luggage to our room. Rooms were small and not much wardrobe space but very comfortable and there is air conditioning which comes at a small cost. You can also hire a safe which is conveniently situated in your room. You’ll find a mini fridge and a great hairdryer in the room and the shower was great. Plenty of hot water. Had a lovely view off the balcony too. We booked on a half board basis and the first morning found it quite overwhelming as didn’t really know what we were doing. Had to find your own table and there is a queuing system to get your food. We found if we got there for 8 am then you’d always be guaranteed to find a table and it wasn’t chaotic. The same for dinner - weworked out the best time and actually enjoyed our meal. You have to get your drink from the bar as there is no waiter service but this is not an issue. We decided to go all inclusive and this was 20 euro per person per day extra. This was worth it as the drinks were quite expensive with a glass of wine being 6 euros but not the biggest glass. It also meant you could have lunch or a drink down by the platform area near the sea. The platform area down by the sea was lovely. Free sun beds and steps into the sea. Great place to watch the sunrise and enjoy the early morning sun before it gets busier or too hot. We loved the early morning sunshine but other people enjoyed the late afternoon sun. Simply lovely. The walk down to the platform area is ok but coming back up is quite tough in the heat and if you have mobility issues it’s definitely not for you as it is quite a walk. The pool area is just as nice. Lovely pool, lots of sun beds and not overly busy. If you don’t fancy either of these options there is a bus that can take you down to the beach at barbati. It goes twice a day from hotel and there is a bus stop outside hotel where you can take a trip to Corfu Town. Barbati is lovely. The beach is lovely but since our last visit has built up with more supermarkets, luxury sun beds on beach but with a very chilled atmosphere day and night. The walk to Barbati from the hotel is a little wild. There is no path and it is busy. We did walk down the road but found shortcuts on way to make it slightly safe but it was still daunting. You can take a taxi from hotel down. All in all a relaxing holiday. Room basic but comfortable, the staff are lovely, very friendly and hospitable. Would we go back? IN A SHOT!

Location is lovely and isolated. And a bus stop is right outside the hotel so is convenient, we managed to pick up the bus routine well (note they only take cash). The staff are nice and the food is good but can be repetitive over a week. There is always a salad bar and a choice of a fish, meat and veggie option with a cakes bar. Rooms are a little small but I would not complain, it has a mini fridge and was cleaned every day with a good shower. Had to pay €6 a night for air-con. They do a free bus down to the nearest beach at 9.30, 14.30 and 17.30. The pool was never really busy and was clean enough. We had to pay for overnight tax at €3 euros a night when we arrived which we did not realise. Overall a very nice stay, pretty central to corfu and i would recommend but maybe with all inclusive.

Rooms are small and dated could definitely do with a refurbishment, the bathroom was lovely with a powerful shower. I had room 102 which had amazing mountain and sea views, but also had a lot of noise from the main road. Pool was lovely, always lots of free sunbeds, the walk down and back up from the decking area is not for the faint hearted or those with limited mobility, once down there though it is lovely and relaxing. Food could be a bit more varied, and upgrading to the All Inclusive could ideally include the beach bar food too not just drinks. There's nothing local to the area, either need to taxi or bus (if you're brave enough to stand on the roadside bus stop) there is no pavement and road outside of the hotel is full of bends and fast traffic. For someone who likes to go for a walk of an evening I found the hotel area quite isolated.

Small hotel in a great location with great views. The rooms are very basic and a little tired, but everything is clean. Cleaned every day. The food is not very varied, but tasty. Beautiful private beach on a cliff. May not be suitable for children. The area is a little outdated, but that gives it its charm. It’s close to the settlement, but it’s not easy to get to – there’s a serpentine road.

Just returned from a lovely week's stay at nautilus Hotel barbati with tui.after reading most reviews I,d say judge for yourself .swimming snorkeling views were amazing 👏 running of the hotel must be difficult with differering nationalities but to us they put in a decent effort to please everyone.the place has a definite relax feel with excellent seating around the pool & bar plus some nice relax seating indoor areas too.the sea front decking with parasols/sun recliners /bar were excellent but accessibility to get down to them was a test but worth it. To sum it all up it's a value for money holiday suited more for couples and young families. Don't miss a trip to corfu town too local buses decent.our view from our room was amazing .thank you nautilus hope to return in the future

An excellent small hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food was good with a brilliant selection of salads to help yourself to. The pool spotlessly clean as were the rooms. Ok, the rooms are basic but perfectly adequate and do have a TV, fridge and AC (extra cost but worth it) with small but nice clean bathroom and decent shower. They also have a balcony, ours had a sea view too. We were far too busy enjoying the pool, swimming from the decking and generally enjoying the hotel hospitality to do anything other than shower and sleep in the room. Location was ideal too with a bus stop directly outside the hotel so easy to venture out. We took a trip north on the bus costing a couple of pounds, it was like being on a scenic tour - we could even see across to Albania. You do need to be pretty mobile to hike back up from the water and the rooms are built on the hill side so probably not suitable if you have difficulty walking or breathing problems. My daughter and I enjoyed our June 2023 trip so much she has returned in September 2023 with her partner. She reports the staff remembering her and has an even better room with full sea view in the lower accommodation. I'm currently looking into when I can return. If you want a laid back no hassle holiday this is the place!
