A magnificent former 12th century fortified hilltop castle mostly ruins but with some surviving buildings the hotel being one of them that has been transformed into a modern stylish hotel. The proprietor was warm and welcoming and between my Spanish and his English we managed to converse really well. The hotel is steeped in history and really comfortable, it is also dog friendly. Dinner was made to order and was lovely and served whenever we asked for it. Because of its rural location there is no light pollution so sitting on our terrace with wine in hand looking into the stars was an experience worth the cost of the room alone you could literally see thousands of stars with the naked eye. We booked this hotel as a stopover driving from Bilbao to our home in the Costa Blanca and will definitely return next year

Happy hosts and wonderful views
Our stay at the castle grounds was an overall incredible experience - the host was a pleasure, who had time to make us feel welcome and even provided ud a unique tour of the place. I can only recommend staying here, and really feeling the history turn around you. They had no problem speaking English with us, and had great recommendations of where to stop, on ot road back towards Valencia.
The restaurant up there is also fine, but you should come for the views and the magic ✨

Ha sido una experiencia perfecta, tanto por la calidad del hotel como por las personas que lo atienden. Una visita nocturna guiada por las ruinas del pueblo muy agradable y curiosa. Y una visión de las estrellas y la vía lactea increibre.

En el recinto de la abandonada pero espectacular Villa de Moya, esta joyita. Pocas habitaciones pero magníficas (también relación calidad/precio) y con servicio de resturación (sólo noche) muy acertado. Y, por supuesto, el buen hacer y la simpatía de Álvaro (un crack), que incluso se ofrece a una visita nocturna del entorno

Al entrar a pedir una consumición, un trabajador nos dice que está sólo y no nos puede atender si no estamos alojados en el hotel. Tenía una mesa dentro con dos personas (ya servida), y una mesa fuera con cuatro o cinco personas (ya servida). Atención lamentable, obviamente ni nos alojaremos en el hotel ni volveremos

Ayer fuimos a cenar, como cada año, con la família, 6 personas en total. Pedimos 5 tapas para compartir siguiendo los consejos del camarero y fueron más que suficientes. Las cantidades són generosas y el precio muy correcto. De postre tiramisú casero (muy bueno). Servicio rápido y agradable. Repetiremos. Muy recomendable.
