What a gem of a place! We stayed on route to Val Thorens and with the extremely reasonable price we weren’t expecting much. But what a lovely evening - great no nonsense food, rooms were huge and clean, service was friendly and easy and there is free parking right outside the door. Deffo stopping here again 👍🏻

I think the meal was perhaps the disappointing meal that I have had in France ever. I ordered a vegetable risotto which arrived within 10 minutes so was clearly not freshly prepared. On putting my fork into the middle of it, it proved to be congealed rice. The waitress blamed it on the Savoie cheese added but there was no mention of this on the menu. I had the Green salad which accompanied it. My wife had a burger ordered in the medium condition but arrived rare. She left 85% of it. The bottle of Morgan ordered was pure vinegar and did not resemble anything near the Gamay grape. We left it on the table 85% full. We retreated to the bar and ordered a mixed charcuterie which was good but we did not do it justice as we were by that stage a bit past it. I ordered a bottle of Mercury and once again nowhere near a Burgundy wine I know so well. I handed it back to the bar as we went to bed with one glass consumed out of it. We were charged in full for everything with no reduction for anything. I think this might be summed as taking the mick…..Avoid.

Good welcome with a smile. Large and clean room but a little old-fashioned Like the bathroom in its original state. No restaurant at the moment. Buffet breakfast. It is complete and good. Good value for money

Large room with quality furniture and excellent bedding. Well located in the city center, no private parking but parking spaces opposite. Our room had kept its original decoration, especially in the bathroom which also had a bidet. But the hotel rooms seem to have been recently redone and are more up to date. Full and quality breakfast. A hotel that offers good value for money.

Installed on the terrace for coffee and lemonade, we were told to walk away that we were not customers and that the bar restaurant did not serve outside customers. We do not understand at all because we have always been customers of this establishment. What a shame in the middle of summer, to be refused drinks on an empty terrace. Such a shame for the image of the city.

We thought we would have a nice bite to eat here on our first evening, but unfortunately this was not a success. The waiter could barely speak English when ordering and then made us wait half an hour before we could order something, we did not understand what he meant at first. Once ordered we did not get our ordered drinks. The food came before the wine. The wine was not cold, the food was not warm either. Next to us there was a complaint about the meat that was not to our liking and everyone had something to complain about. The waiter was also very unfriendly and short-sighted when something was said about it! Never again for us, waste of money.
